Stayed for a night at the end of summer and throughly enjoyed ourselves. The setting is beautiful and the accommodation is top quality. The breakfast was possibly the best we have had. Could not fault the place and will definitely be back (sooner rather than later!).

Andrea and Alasdair are the nicest, most congenial hosts a traveler could wish for. My traveling companions and I stayed at Alton Albany Farm for three nights and it was a complete delight. Set in acres of beautiful countryside with a river flowing at the bottom of the garden, the Farm is picturesque and beautiful. It is a perfect place...

We spent two nights here whilst attending the Commonwealth Games. Cannot recommend it too highly. Alasdair and Andrea are the perfect hosts and are genuinely pleased to have guests staying in their home. The house is historic and beautifully restored. Our room was really comfortable, with fresh coffee and milk left in a vacuum flask for us. We were able...

This is a prefect place to unwind - a warm and friendly welcome, a comfortable room in a lovely old house in a beautiful part of the country and the most delicious meals. The night sky is amazing and it's a prefect location for some serious star gazing. We hope to visit again and stay awhile to explore the surrounding...

Three of us were lucky enough to be able to stay with Andrea & Alasdair for 4 days over the Easter Holidays. What an amazing place to escape to. We felt completely at home, the rooms were large and comfortable, the breakfast delicious and the hosts lovely. There were lambs sheltering in one of the barns and we were lucky...

Everything was great. We loved the breakfast in the private sitting room. The local pub was closed so Alisdair made us dinner. That was very special. We loved the dogs and actually we miss them! It was so nice to talk to Alisdair and Andrea and they really try to make you feel more than comfortable. The location is so...

We really enjoyed our stay in this excellent, relaxing B+B. the owners (both two legged and four legged) were welcoming and gave great service. Both Alisdair and Andrea were helpful suggesting places to visit without being intrusive. The breakfast was superb, nicely presented and unhurried, with a great view of the garden to ponder whilst eating. The room was spacious...

This B&B was perfect. The room was so clean and comfortable (and newly renovated!). The welcome was superb. The view from my window soo virtual reality... and the dogs were the sweetest ever! I loved my stay. Alasdair gave a wonderful welcome, and I enjoyed Andrea's special eye for the mysteries of flowers. Hope to return.
