Every time I visit Mombasa, I stay at Kahama. Not only are the rates reasonable, the customer service is excellent! The 'Ole's' run to help me with my bags, the girls and guys at the reception sign me up quick and there is always that cold glass of juice that says 'we are happy to have ya!" better than plain...

It was wonderful but the music is too loud at night especially for someone who wants to rest Something should be done about it.Other than that the Maasai men are doing a good job. The reception is wonderful and the rooms are good

I must say that I visited a five star and a three start hotel just next to you Kahama and I thought the star ratings should change. Kahama has the best reception and general services compared to the other hotels nearby. Being a local guest, I was less regarded in those other hotels..yet I gave among the best tips. Kahama...

Taking our cue from the Lonely Planet Kenya guidebook, our group of 23 youth and adults descended on the hotel with little notice. The staff took everything in stride and were able to accommodate us with a minimum of fuss. Eight of the group were in the nearby apartments (four to a room) and enjoyed a wonderful view of the...

The first time I decided to go to Kahama, it was after I saw their advert on the Daily Nation, back then they were charging Kes. 1,750.00 (only!!) per person sharing per night. So, me and my business partner who were there from Nairobi on business spent two nights there - total value for money considering the reason we were...

I stayed in Kahama for 2 days, the place is clean and the rooms spacious. I liked the idea of having maasai guards, very creative:) However breakfast is not a buffet, you have to order and the options are very limited. We had to wait for about 30min for our breakfast to be made. I just love the idea of...
