Had a lovely 2 night stay here with lake / pool view room. Mostly clean (except mould in shower). Refurbished room & close to Club Mulwala that serves (included) breakfast. Nightly dinner specials for $13 were great value & clearly get the people in as it was very busy. Would definitely stay again

We booked 2 executive rooms and dealing with the pleasant staff was such a pleasure. They treated us like family especially Janine. Janine's service was exceptional. We were so delighted to arrive and find these rooms to have beautiful views of the lake and the rooms were so big with everything you need all for $183 per night including breakfast. We had a first floor room that had a small balcony that you can sit out on. The rooms were so clean with a huge king bed, large bathroom with spa, a little kitchenette, lounge and table and chairs. The bed was so comfortable and the area was so quiet. I highly recommend this place. We have already booked to come back in 6 months.

We visited here on Australia day for about 3-4hrs to gamble and had a good experience. Staff were friendly, complimentary drinks for gamblers were well made, and they didn't make you feel like you were an imposition in requesting them. There were a good number of players here, and also a good variety and number of machines. There was plenty of atmosphere in the facility, including a live band. I have visited here several time in the past, and would certainly do so again. Thank you to the club for their consistent and friendly service and professionalism.

Spent five days with Club Mulwala in a first floor Executive room. Apparently the lake frontage has now become a fishing pier. We were expecting to enjoy the lake views and a cool drink from our Executive balcony but instead were treated to loud music and both loud adults and children. At one stage there were twelve fishing lines perched on the grass lake frontage below our room. In the entirety of our stay we had any one evening of peace and that ended at 10pm when the fishing and music began again. On our second night the revelry lasted until after midnight. Not much the staff here can do to deal with people who have no concern other than their own selfish enjoyment and in any case the motel part is unmanned in the late evening
The room itself was clean and the bed comfortable. Housekeeping was good and check in was quick. Wi-Fi is dreadful. Luckily I did not come to watch TV as the system is awful and highly people unfriendly.
Short walk to the Services Club and choice of restaurants.
Would otherwise have given a very good rating.
Give the Executive rooms a miss as the fisherfolk can roll up lakeside regardless which part of the motel they reside.
Never again.

Stayed here on a midweek 3 night winter special. We booked the executive suite as the deluxe suites we wanted were booked out. We found a couple of things we didn't find appealing. 1. Design of place not well thought out. Lighting is way too bright for the room space. WI FI is shocking in and out of frequency bad weather causes the wi fi to play up we were told by reception. There is no table on the balcony to enjoy a meal looking at the view. Had to keep asking staff to service room. TV (TCL) is not user friendly. I do not recommend this room (50). Not worth the money, try other rooms.

The room we had was a very good size. It was lovely sitting outside our room at the table & chairs provided. The only problem with the room was the whole bed shook if one of us turned around.
We went for dinner at the Chinese restaurant & we thoroughly enjoyed it there & the service was excellent.

We arrived at 11.30 hoping the room was available early. The couple before me were given their room. The receptionist Lisa said you are 2 1/2 hours early I will ring you when your room is ready. I booked in, Lisa laid down the rules like we were in Russia. By 3 p.m. no call, we went back to the motel. I enquired why we weren't called , the lovely Lisa shook a piece of paper at me marked she had called us. I pointed out to Lisa mobile phones display all missed and answered calls. Lisa just handed me the key and walked off. This was such a pity as the room and surrounds were very nice. Maybe the club could give Lisa some lessons in customer service!

We managed to sneak a weekend away in between lockdowns. This place has it all.
Starting with the rooms, definitely worth paying a bit more for the lake frontage. The bed was very comfortable, bathroom was spacious and everything was perfect.
The breakfast was more than enough, with lots of choices such as the usual bacon and eggs etc.
The club itself is very professionally run, with a choice of restaurants to meet all needs.
We ate at the Chinese restaurant and loved it. Another night, we had dinner at the bistro and once again all the meals were delicious.
We had a lovely 2 day break in Mulwala as there’s a lot to see in the area.

We stayed here for 3 nights and everything was great. Greeted warmly at reception and we were very happy with our room and balcony view. Great water pressure in the shower and the room is well equipped. Short walk across the car park to the RSL where again we were greeted warmly and we spent a bit of time there and everything was top notch. Breakfast is included in your room rate and is supplied at the RSL. I would definitely stay here again. The beds and bedding rival any top 5 star hotel.

Stayed 2 nights in a deluxe room. Clean, comfortable & spacious. Comfy king bed with a big bathroom. Our room was on the 2nd floor overlooking pool area. As members we got 20% discount including breakfast. Breakfast was a variety including eggs & usual breakfast sides in bain marie, variety of toast, cereal & fruit. Was very hot over the time we stayed (mid 40's deg) & the a/c worked very well in our room. Lots of free parking onsite. Hotel staff friendly.
