This is a truly bilingual hotel, where English is a functional language. The receptionist speaks very good English, and there are English instructions to equipment in the room, including the set up of WIFI and TV remote control. In the cafe adjourned to hotel that provides breakfast, you can also order in English. It doesn't mean that other aspects of...

The "7 home" store opposite the hotel has an ATM that accepts foreign cards with no surcharge. No wireless internet, so bring your...

Feb 2009: I stayed in this hotel (as I know many westerners have) while working with colleagues at the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan, which is a short bus-ride away. Pros: good internet connection (bring a cable, many hotels in Japan are not wireless), comfortable bed, staff with very passable English (even for a slightly out of the way place...
