We stayed two nights and had a very pleasant room with en-suite, good views over the valley and excellent breakfasts. Jacqueline gave us very useful local information, guides and discount vouchers for the chateaux we wanted to visit. Initial access from the main road was narrow but we were later advised to use an alternative, wider route. Enjoyable stay.

This B&B is located near Tours (Rochecarbon). We initially had concerns about the location, but found it central to the Loire Valley for touring and good dining. The house overlooks the small town. It is very nice with good rooms (all features, including WiFi) and has a deck and garden in the back in whichto relax after touring. We dealt... More

We had a reservation at another b and b but the host had forgotten our booking. We came here by chance and consider ourselves fortunate. We were warmly greeted, had a very comfortable and well-appointed room with a lovely view. Breakfast was outstanding and beautifully presented. Jaqueline and Andre were charming and helpful. We left feeling we had gained through... More

We stayed here on the way to the Lot & Garonne and will be staying on the way back. A friend recommended it and I can't thank them enough. Jacqueline and Andre are lovely hosts and the breakfast was amazing. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is the lack of tea & coffee making facilities in the room,... More

We have stayed at the B&B on numerous occasions and there is very little I can add to to what has already been said in previous reviews. The proprietors are always courteous, enthusiastic and precise in every detail the breakfast table is testament to this. The rooms are comfortable but as with most French B&B's lack brewing up facilities. Many... More

I travelled with my wife and our 1 yrs old baby. The place is in a scenic beautiful location with decent size rooms. Great value for the money, clean, and great breakfast. The owners gave us coupons for the chateaux, which saved us quite a bit. Very quiet and comfortable rooms. On the down side, I would mention the fact... More

My husband and I visited Rochecorbon early September 2014 as part of a trip to explore the homeland of some of my ancestors. My 7th great grandfather was baptized in l'Eglise St. Georges in 1638, then later came to Nouvelle France to begin a very long line of descendants. We chose Les Hautes Gatineres as our place to stay for... More

My husband and I arranged a quick break to the Loire Valley and stayed at Les Hautes Gatinieres for four nights. I'd rate it as one of the best B and B's we've ever stayed in. The room was impeccably clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The view from our room was beautiful and the atmosphere was very peaceful, as one... More

For the past six years my family and I have been stopping here on the way to and from our holidays in the Dordogne. This has everything you would want from a quality bed and breakfast. Attentive hosts who are genuinely pleased to see us, clean and comfortable rooms, an excellent breakfast, and always advice if required. I would thoroughly... More

We stayed 2 nights at this wonderful B&B. The owners were out of town, but their neighbor Christine was very helpful and even brought us cherries from the tree in her backyard for breakfast. Everything was spotless, comfortable and very peaceful. Breakfast was wonderful, with several kinds of bread, homemade jam, and eggs cooked to order. Christine also gave us... More

“For a family of four or five they do an excellent pair of adjoining rooms.”

“We stayed in the suite (2 separate bedrooms with one bath) because my husband snores. The price was much less and the service much better than a comparable hotel arrangement would have been.”
