The environment, the room, the treatment of the owner (Pablo), the breakfast..... PERFECT.

Waking up hearing the river and seeing nature is motivating
Breakfast with everything imaginable (cakes, honey, etc...)
Pablo guides you to go on routes or give you advice on what to see there.
The room was very clean and comfortable, not a single but could be said about it.

Highly, highly recommended. We will return without hesitation

A charming place that allows you to disconnect from everyday life. It is a place that allows you to recharge your batteries with mountain views and a jacuzzi.
The staff is very friendly and attentive to any questions.
Very clean place, and perfect breakfast.
To repeat!!!

Charming hotel in a privileged enclave of nature, there is a river behind it and mountains holding your gaze. The disconnection result is immediate. A very peaceful place to enjoy the many possibilities that Parque Ubiñas offers. The treatment is kind and considerate. We have had a great vacation. 😊

We were there for 5 days of cycling. The hotel offers all what cyclists need: ample, quiet room with adequate cupboards, bath room with hairdryer, locked place to store the bikes. The buffet-breakfast is good, the dinner excellent and to some degree 'customizable' on demand (pasta!). The hotel manager is very friendly and helpful, ready to inform you on all the aspects of his magnificent region, Asturias. The region offers excellent training facilities for road cycling. We cycled 660 km and accumulated 15000 m of denivelation, over the several mountain passes. The Angliru being the ultimate challenge (of course). The only suggestion for improvement is in our opinion the bedding quality. Internet is rather slow, probably due to a narrow 'last mile' of the provider (Movistar).

House and rooms are complete. We were with 4 friends to cycle in the environment (exceptional places). Friendly family (of 4 generations) did everything and more to make our stay comfortable; use the hose to clean the bikes, prepared special food taking our wishes into considation, use of their computer, etc. Place is some km from the village but for us no problem.

Clean, comfortable, with homemade food prepared with love - you cannot beat this place. Pablo cannot do enough to make your stay perfect. Exactly what we needed on our long journey. Location is great with lots of walks close by and many old towns to explore. Fascinating area.

Returned to Pablos after 5 years with my darling wife & friends David & Cheryl. It is a beautiful rural northern Spain location about 3km from San Martin. Why is this place so special? In one word its Pablo, the owner & host. He is very helpful in suggestion day itineraries & nothing is a problem. His English is much better than my Spanish!
The accommodation is clean & cosy with ensuite. The stream running through the back of the property is a highlight & a godsend for bathing sore legs from the mountain hikes or bike climbs. There is even a spa.
I recommend taking the breakfast & dinner option, especially home cooked 3 course dinner (Russian salad, braised slow cooked baby veal & homemade cheesecake) is a must after regional site seeing or long walks.
The views from the property and around the property are a delighted & one will feel refreshed & rejuvenated even after a short stay in this environment with Pablo & family

This is a nice and inexpensive hotel. The staff is friendly, and the location is very convenient. They offer a single-choice dinner, which is otherwise excellent... and for just 10 EUR. The setting by the river is fantastic. The only drawback is the wifi. Extremely slow when it works. It they solve that, it would be a excellent hotel, which in terms of value for money still is.

My boyfriend and I decided to spend a long weekend in Asturias. After taking a look we decided to stay here because the good reviews on TripAdvisor.
People was not wrong. The hotel is in a beautiful area to explore the famous caves and hiking.
We arrived there by car after the indications gaven by one of the owners. Our room was very nice overlooking the small river. Both the bathroom and bedroom were very clean. The facilities given in the bathroom are soap, shampoo and shower gel.

That evening we had dinner there and we payed 12 euro per person for a zucchini soup (the whole soup tureen) and roast chicken with potatoes. We got custards for the dessert, as well as bread, water and a glass of wine. A very honest cost for the quantity and quality given.

The only thing that we did not like about this place is that has not blinds or typical country home shutters for the windows so we got up really early because of the light.

The hotel has an area to read books, a small bar, a dining room and a spa area with jacuzzi and sauna which in my opinion is quite expensive (11 euro per person). In many hotels this is free or they ask for a lower amount.

Breakfast (at 4.50 euro per person) included a fresh orange juice, muffins, toasts, coffee, almond cookies, butter and jam. All was rich and plentiful.

We would like to stay more but we alredy had a booking in a Gijon hotel (you can see my review of AC by Marriot Hotel Gijon). But suming up, owners should place blinds. If some guests want to get up with the natural light they just could left the blinds open but in Spain we like to sleep in a completely darkness. This is the reason I rate this place with 3 points instead of 4 or 5.

We stayed here two nights with friends as part of a cycling tour. The hotel is in a lovely tranquil setting within the fabulous Asturias mountains. We took the chance to explore the nearby Senda del Oslo walking trail. The prehistoric park is also an easy walk but was closed the day we were there. The rooms are clean, modern and spacious. Breakfast is a real treat, especially for hungry cyclists. The only downside is that the nearest town is 5km away but Pablo kindly drove some of us to lunch on our wet ‘rest day’ (and brought us home). Can’t speak highly enough of Pablo and his hospitality.
