We met family and friends here and enjoyed this quite area of Italy. The Breakfasts were delicious and the bath in the ensuite, had a view over the garden. We enjoyed drinks around the pool in the late afternoon. There are great restaurants within 15 minutes and good markets.

Lovely old house in the middle of nowhere. We had a bit of a problem finding it. Rooms are furnished with antiques and the breakfast was very good and nicely served. Sat in the sun in the garden overlooking the pool. Old interesting villages in the vicinity but lack of somewhere to eat in the evenings.

This year, we stayed at Villa Belvedere for the second year in a row. It is the perfect place for a quiet getaway. The view on the Tuscan hills is absolutely stunning, the pool is amazing and the service is very good. Having breakfast overlooking the valley is an unforgettable experience. The landlady and her daughter are extremely nice. The...

A beautiful mansion in the middle of a peaceful side valley of Garfagnana. The superior room is very nice and clean, as well as the pool. The breakfast is just enough, but there would be room for improvement.

If you stay at this villa and have used a booking agency where they have your credit card details don't make the same mistake that we did.. On the morning that we left we paid for our stay in cash. Not speaking any Italian and dealing with the little old lady that was there that morning we struggled to get...

There are plenty of parking spaces The bedroom was comfortable and warm and the en-suite was modern and clean with a super-powerful shower and plenty of towels. After driving to the middle of no-where, Italy be prepared to live like the locals. Stores open at certain times and close for the afternoon and dinner is after 7pm. Make sure you get the food schedule quick as the 6hr time difference really messes timings up with kids. The only reason to come here is to see the countryside...

Good evening, we are truly sorry for the heat in mandarda, but now we have to install air conditioning. Unfortunately regards to the spaces of the attic (you say cramped) I would say it is a personal taste, since the pitched roof with exposed wood beams are a feature that customers usually appreciate. Thanks for the compliments on the breakfast,...
