We stayed in August for one night on our way to Sisteron, it was a lovely hotel. We had a room in the courtyard and it was very comfortable and clean. The staff were really accommodating and helpful. We had our evening meal outside in the courtyard which was very nice but not big portions! But what do you expect... More

Cosy hotel found through tripadvisor in our way back to uk. Situated in Piney a small village in a natural reserve. The swimming pool and the air conditioning was a big plus ( 35C was the temp outside). Wooden beams and comfortable rooms. It's a Yes! Recommended!

We all really liked the hotel, pool, and wonderful unspoilt village. We were a party of two families and each enjoyed the rooms. One had a bath which made our friends holiday as they had showered for weeks. We had a drink in the bar before dinner and walked around to the courtyard which had a fountain and birds singing.... We arrived here for a pre-booked overnight stay on a Saturday on our way back from the Cote d'Azur. We had a warm welcome from the young lady on reception who made a booking for us to eat that evening in the restaurant. She also said that they would open the breakfast room at 7.45 for us the following morning.Normal Sunday... I have stayed here many times both on my own and with my family returning from skiing holidays. The location is fabulous and easy from Troyes. The gem though is the restaurant - a proper French menu for 19 Euros that includes foie gras! (Ok a 5e supplement). We stayed as a family of 4 last week and had a... More

We stayed here on a Friday night on the way to skiing. We stayed with some friends who had made the booking. It sounds like the proprietor is very helpful but his wife less so. We arrived after dark in to a lovely small town with lots of half timbered buildings. Salty the bar was closed and no amount of... More

The hotel is in a pretty old complex of buildings, not large but not tiny. There's a lovely courtyard in the middle of the place. Our room opened onto the courtyard. The staff were very nice. I'm a French-limited American but I was able to get through the checkin process without incident. Room was fairly spacious (for the price) and... More

Stayed here for 2 weeks in September 2015 whilst working in the area. Rooms comfortable and clean and all in all not a bad hotel but in need of an update and suffers from the noise from the road which does have a lot of HGVs use it.

Stayed here a few times so it can't be too bad and given the cost is not a bad place to lay your head of an evening. It is dated. Every room I've been in had something not working or not fitting as well as it should. With a major overhaul this could be quite a quaint overnight stay. The... More

My family and I stayed at this hotel as a stop over on the way to the south coast of France. On paper it looked good... We arrived around 2pm to find the town 'shut' but with a rather disturbing number of HGV's passing through the place. Reception staff were friendly and spoke enough English to make check-in a simple... More
