I've visited French Riding Holidays many times over the last eight years, but this holiday included my first mini trail ride, which was splendid, we had four day rides, each one with wonderful views, scenic picnic stops and great canters. The team at FRH look after the guests with great care and attention to your riding ability, whilst at the...

What a great week! Been coming the FRH for ten years now, and this was the best riding holiday so far. Horses were in great shape, we rode to and through beautiful towns and scenery, food was top notch and we stayed in some lovely places. I'd thoroughly recommend this trail.

I've been on many riding holidays over 15+ years and Anne & Derek's horses are fantastic: well schooled with light mouths but they will shift up a gear if you ask them (& no problem stopping afterwards). Be prepared for a lot of steep, rocky ups & downs (so you need to be fit) through wooded valleys, but the views...

My 11 year old daughter and visited French Riding Holidays for the 3rd time last week and if anything the experience only gets better! As always, you're treated as so much more than a guest and more an old friend coming to visit. The tranquil location, wonderful home made food and plentiful supply of refreshments make for a wonderful break....

We travel a great deal riding. We found Derek, Anne, Amanda and Stacey to be excellent hosts, great horse people. The horses were well mannered, well kept and well schooled. The hospitality is fantastic, you feel at home and the food is superb. Derek matches you and a horse to each other so that you are both happy. The wifi...

My first riding holiday, hopefully of many. FRH was great! The countryside is beautiful, the little villages gorgeous, steep sided oak woods and lovely valleys. The horses were a perfect balance of forward going and sensible. Tiffany is a glamourpuss! We rode for about 5 hours or so every day, finishing with a cold drink on the terrace. Everyone was...

Just returned from our 4th trip to FRH. The consistency of the good rides, variety of horses, excellent hospitality and genuinely nice people keeps us coming back. We think it's a real gem thanks to the combination of where it's located and the care taken to select the right ride for you . Have to say a big thanks to...

Everyday the opportunity to walk, trot canter and gallop through the most beautiful countryside. Quite lanes, farm tracks, open fields and woods. Daily rides at 10 am and 3 pm each day. A large selection of quality horses and the chance to ride various breeds. A small cross country and Le Trec course was really enjoyable and the staff make...

Richard and Stacey choose the right horse for your abilities and take so much care and effort in planning everything on an individual basis. The food is amazing and the accommodation comfortable. I cannot speak highly enough of this amazing place. Anne and Amanda are the perfect hosts, you immediately feel are visiting friends who happen to be amazing chefs and have a fantastic stable of horses to suit all abilities. Derek and Stacy are just fantastic riding leaders instilling confidence and ensuring that everyone has a great time. My only regret...
