Beautiful lodge nestled high up in the hills providing breath taking scenery. The concept of no fencing allowed for one on one experience with our daily visits from friendly Kudus providing a true sense of being out in the natural. All very safe of course. The rooms where magnificent with great views and the experience of outdoor showers in mist...

We have been incredibly fortunate to have spent the past 5 nights with our three sons aged 10,13 and 14 years old in Umzolozolo. Throughout our stay we have been treated to the most superb service and care. The staff at Umzolozolo lodge have been wonderfully generous in sharing their expertise and were incredibly gracious in providing anything that may...

We were greeted by the friendliest staff. All made the effort to know you by name. Food and drink was constant and was excellent! We could make special last minute requests too. They played a trick on us, serving what we thought were hard boiled eggs, but when we tried to crack them open found they were fake! We were...

From the moment we arrived, first class service, lovely staff, expert game drivers amazing food! My husband and I stayed in the Presidential Suite, gorgeous. 2 game drives were fantastic, lots of animals including the "big 5". I will never forget having cocktails out in the bush in the open space and coffee the next morning with the sun coming...

Beautiful accommodation (most with incredible views over the reserve), excellent game viewing and very attentive staff made for a memorable weekend away with the family. The games drives were great with loads of animals to view and our ranger, Raymond, was fantastic! Definitely will be back.

Our second visit to Umzolozolo, 3 years on, was as good as the first. Attentive staff, great food, amazing game viewing and wonderful service. The new chalets have given the lodge additional capacity, whilst still maintaining the experience of the older chalets. In fact next time I would like to stay in one to experience the different views and modern...

We booked Umzolozolo on high praise recommendations on our last year’s visit to Nambiti. How disappointed we were when we found that the new additions have turned this once true game lodge into what can only be described as a boutique hotel. New management where most of the staff are new and inexperienced. The food on offer was far from...

Dear Tony and Christine Thank you for your review on trip advisor. We really do appreciate your input and feedback. We are saddened to hear that you were disappointed with our revamp and that you feel it has changed into a boutique hotel instead of a true game lodge. We will be doing a full review on the food, menus...

Me and my familiy stayed here for one night, and despite rain during both game drives we had a fantastic experience at the Umzolozolo Lodge in Nambiti Reserve. The lodges was beautiful, the staff took great care of us and the food was absolutely lovely! Nothing negative to say really. You get value for your money at this place indeed...

A last minute booking got us in at Umzolozolo. Arriving at the lodge, we were suprised by the beautifull surroundings of the bush and the lodge itself! From the reception to departure nothing was to much for the staff of Umzolozolo. All the meals was great, breakfast, lunch and dinner!!! All of the staff was friendly and our babysitter was...
