We had two wonderful nights at Elephant Rock....and what can I say, it was absolutely perfect. From arrival we were made to feel special by Steph & Renee (and gorgeous Ruby). We went on 4 safari's with Steph during our stay, who went above and beyond our expectations, each safari more special than the last. The deck where we had...

My wife and I first visitied Nambiti when we were dating and now we are married, decided to stay one night to rekindle old memories. The lodge is still great value compared to other private lodges. The service continues to be attentive and despite the heavy rain and mud, the animal sighting were good. The only disappointment we experienced was...

We stayed at elephant rock lodge in April with another couple. Everything was absolutely perfect and well executed by the friendly staff from the moment we arrived to leaving. Steph is fantastic and so knowledgeable, every game drive with her we came away having learnt so much and witnessed some fascinating scenes in the bush. Renee needs a special mention...

We absolutely loved our stay at Elephant Rock and our only compliant would be that we wish we had booked for longer. Renee and Stacie looked after our every need perfectly and Graham has to be one of the best guides out there. We managed to see a huge range of animals, which I believe was due to a small...

This must be about our eighth visit and the quality and value of this game lodge continue to amaze us. The highlight on this occasion was watching a black rhino repeatedly charge and drive off two large adult male lions when they approached. We stayed three nights and every day offered new and delightful experiences.

Where do we begin? We absolutely LOVED our stay at Elephant Rock. When I say there wasn't anything more that we wanted for, I mean it. Here's a breakdown of what you can expect: On arrival, you are collected by one of the game drive vehicles. All your bags are taken to your room for you and you leave on...

This review is long overdue. We had the fortune of staying at Elephant Rock a few years ago for my daughter's first ever trip to SA. We enjoyed it so much that we rebooked for my parent's 50th Wedding Anniversary at the start of April. One cannot explain how wonderful this resort / lodge is. From the moment you arrive...

There are not enough superlatives to describe a stay at Elephant Rock-absolutely everything rates a perfect 10. As soon as you arrive at the gate, you are made to feel special, as if they have been waiting just for you. It was lovely being collected at the car park and driven to the lodge, where we were greeted with refreshing...
