I booked myself in for a personal retreat, and had a wonderful stay! The owners are also professional chefs, and offer exceptionally yummy family-style meals, as well as cooking classes, and lots of walks are available in the area. While I was here several cyclists stopped by, and many people were out porcini hunting and chestnut hunting. It's been a...

My family really enjoyed our stay with Marla and Fabrizio and were so impressed with the bed and breakfast, and especially their warm hospitality. We will always remember the wonderful meals we had with them, and the fun of heading into Pinerolo to go to the market with people who actually know the vendors. It was a great treat to...

We had a fantastic stay at Bella Baita, made all the more special by our warm caring hosts, Marla and Fabrizio. Their recommended walks and site seeing advice not only got us seeing some of the most beautiful scenery in this hidden corner of Italy. They also cooked us the most delicious food grown locally from their garden. This is...

In the three months I lived in Liguria, I spent two 4-day weekends at Bella Baita. Although it was two train rides and a bus ride away, I couldn't get enough! The amazing location, nestled in a forest of mixed conifer and deciduous trees, creating the perfect setting for tranquil walks in the woods, on well marked paths maintained by...

I stayed here with a friend a few years ago and I said I would be back with my wife. She is very I happy we stayed here. Comfortable, warm and welcoming, great food and conversations. We took a cooking class, hiked beautiful local, recommended trails and visited some nearby historical sites. It was a great beginning of our trip.

We spent six nights at Bella Baita and our main reason for visiting was for cooking lessons. In two separate lessons, we learned to make pasta, ravioli, gnocci, crostata, rollata (with chicken) and more. Fabrizio and Marla are both good cooks and we have begun trying out the recipes now that we are home. The B&B is in a pretty...

We had a warm welcome to a haven of quiet, surrounded by mountains and forests. Great walking country and Marla and Fabrizio have both lots of maps and lots of knowledge. Bells Baita is a B&B, with dinner on request. Request it! Homemade pasta, bread, pastries, brilliant risotto. Don't miss dinner.

Long overdue review of our stay last Spring... Fabrizio and Marla are the perfect hosts, a perfect combination of enthusiasm, local knowledge, and warmth. We happily went on whirlwind tours of the baita building and gardens, a nearby evocative abandoned village, vegetable garden, and many projects the couple is working on to improve and expand the agriturism offerings. Borrowed mountain...

“There are only 5 or so double rooms. Ours was essentially identical to our friends' room. Rooms are at the front overlooking the valley to the mountains behind. The rooms face the west and have afternoon sun but the roller shades (rouladen in German, don't remember the Italian) can make the guest rooms dark and cozy any time of day. Beds were comfortable and en suite bathrooms are large. You might ask for a tub if that is your preference. We enjoyed the large shower in our room.”
