It’s perfect in every way! Great location - a short walk to the private beach and restaurants. Views are incredible and I am so glad Ryno Summers came to my rescue when an AIRBNB listing disappointmented my booking. The Abalone house is super stylish and immaculately clean, pool is gorgeous and all staff are superb hosts, always friendly and on hand to go above and beyond to make your stay. Breakfast is amazing too! Honestly, more than happy, I am so pleased it chose me, it completely surpassed all my expectations.

Very disappointed. In desperate need of maintenance and thorough cleaning. Cupboard hinges, doorknobs and poolside tiles are all in a dreadful state. Bathroom windows filthy. Very clearly no supervision or managerial guidance

This hotel was so great. Quite eccentric. More than comfortable rooms. The key is the staff. We asked some chilli sauce/oil and they did not have any. The waitress then went home to fetch us a bottle!

We stayed for one night in the pool villas. Comfort, luxury and your own infinity pool with a spectacular view of the ocean. Another thing you have to experience is a massage by Verna at the hotel. Best massage I’ve had in my life!

We visited Abalone Pool Villa on 22-24 Oct 2020 for our 11 year anniversary. We stayed in Villa 2. At first glance the pictures on their website and facebook page is beautiful. We made our booking and paid in full. On arrival the Villa was filthy. Dust every were. The carpet in the lounge area is disgusting and stinks. Looks like it hasn't been cleaned since it was put in many many years ago. Both rooms have no TVs - just wires hanging. Bathroom towel rail broken with no other place to hang your wet towel. Rusty dust bins. Patio furniture is covered in bird poo and is broken to pieces - you would not even want to sit outside. There is a blue pool dye in the pool water that makes your entire body blue, you come out looking like a smurf. Dont get me started on the breakfast...appalling to say the least. But the worst thing is the disgusting attitude of the GM. When you ask to see him, he sends the receptionist to your breakfast table. Doesn't have the decency to speak to the guest. this is definately not 5 star worthy accommodation and not worth the 2K per night we spent. You also promised a night guard as there is no lock up garage, but when we enquired were told there is no guard. Also this Villa is situated next to an empty parking lot were the fishermen peer over the walls into the property. They whistle at you and make you feel so uncomfortable and unsafe.....you are warned of this in a letter left in the Villa only once you check in. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DUMP. So much other better places at a cheaper rate that you can stay at.
