This beautiful, small and private island resort has everything you could possibly ask for if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday. The staff are friendly, efficient and helpful at all times. The rooms are amazingly comfortable and even the smallest details have not been overlooked. Someone has obviously spent a lot of effort and thought into the...

My wife and I stayed at Angel Island for nearly 3 weeks in December 2015 (so this review is a year late) for a snorkelling holiday. Unlike the more remote grass hut resorts on the Raja Ampat islands Angel Island Resort is relatively easy to get to (add a day travel time each way for Raja Ampat) and offers big...

This place is paradise. Based in the Komodo region, this private dive resort Island is just amazing. With 10 rooms on the island, each private, you can feel as though you are here on your own. There is a beautiful house reef to snorkel off and dive trips heading out daily. You can also organise private trips (and if you...

Excellent place to stay to see Komodo National Park. The city of Labuan Bajo is a dump so this place located on a private island with clean water surrounding it is a perfect escape. Location on the way to Komodo National Park makes it a perfect spot to experience the riches of the park. Snorkeling off their private beach is...

Angel Island Resort is a very quiet place, where outstanding lodges are hidden within the vegetation which gives the feeling of being close to the nature, yet having a lot of confort. I enjoyed the snorkeling around the island because it's beautiful and very rich with even a group of 5 '(innofensive of course) young sharks. It is also of...

Nothing bad to say (and sorry for my bad english !!)… All is perfect and the price is good when you know that this is all-inclusive (except alcohol), with packages to dive. So it is certain that we will come back, especially if Tristan, the dive instructor, is still there. He is very professional and his French language has helped...

I am really easy going so it takes a lot for me to be disappointed I fact I have never left a bad review. I have stayed on a lot of small island resorts for a similar price. Which is why I was so let down by this place. I know that it's harder to get stuff on an island...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Angel Island is a small eco resort set on a stunning island just off the west coast of Flores in Eastern Indonesia; a place where nature and conservation meet to create a resort like no other in the area. Situated on the 15 hectare island of Bidadari (meaning ‘angel’ in Indonesian), you will find 10 private villas set in a verdant hibiscus garden.
