Sleeper House is a real treasure. It’s in an incredibly convenient location near the train station and the fruit and veg market, and is an attractive yet affordable place to stay. Inside, the hotel is smart and clean, and also welcoming. There are a variety of types of rooms, but what stands out is the lovely family who run the place, in particular, the owner Pear, whose kindness, local knowledge and generous help with all my questions made my stay in Trang a true pleasure. Sleeper House is a place I’ll return to.
I spent two nights in a double room with private toilet. It was charming, very clean and bed and pillows were comfy. I slept very well. Also, fast WIFI. Good location as well as very nice and helpful staff. Pear replied to all my questions/emails even before I arrived. Thank you! I loved everything about this charming guesthouse!
We stayed there 4 days and we visited Trang and some beautiful places and caves nearby. The hostel is so comfortable, well equipped, clean and new. It's in a quiet area so we could rest very well and it's only 5 minutes walking from the night market :) Also, the women of the hostel are so kind and helpful, they showed us places to see in a map, they helped us with taxis (grab app works at the city but not out of it) and they helped us with a package we left when we had already left, so we are so grateful!!
Best value stay ANYWHERE in Thailand. Hostess is a gem as is the place. Trang has just opened a spanking new Robinson's mall with international eateries, Tops market etc. Prices are still not subject to fleece the farang as is so prevalent elsewhere. This is because there are SO FEW farang. Like Krabi was 20 years ago, before the invasion of farang (and worst yet PRCs). Definitely worth a couple nights coming and going to the islands of the far South. Cheapest Dim Sum anywhere at 20 Baht per plate. Fried chicken for 12 Baht. Try THAT in Railay or Ao Nang. Cannot recommend Sleeper House (or Trang) highly enough. Easy on the budget so you can then splurge on Thailand's REAL gem (which you must discover yourself as I do not want to contribute to the masses discovering it!)
I booked 3 nights here and really enjoyed my stay. The room was large and very clean. There were a hair dryer, kettle, water and tea/coffee in the room. Staff were really nice and helped me book a transfer to islands. The location is perfect. It is a walking distance to train station, weekend night market and a lot of restaurants nearby.
