This hotel is a 300 year old building with an annex, the owners are very friendly and helpful. The rooms while basic had everything you could want for your stay.I read some of the negative reviews and have say these people are overly critical, and clearly make a pastime looking for something to moan about, If you want a five star hotel book...

Stayed at this hotel for the Christmas markets at the beginning of December with National Holidays. There were the four of us (older) girls. We sailed into Rotterdam and there was a very long journey to the Black Forest. It was worth every hour of the miles we travelled to get there. The area around the hotel was absolutely stunning....

This is the second time we have visited this hotel with National Holidays; the first was to visit the Christmas markets in the area and this time was for the whole of the Christmas break. Other reviews explain the hotel layout and cuisine so I will not comment on those, other than to say our room was clean and spacious,...

Stayed here in December with national holidays. Some slight improvements could have been made with heating in the main restaurant. And more lighting outside . The staff were soo friendly and helpful. The Rooms were lovely and comfy and warm. Food was enjoyable but limited on range especially on pudding. Overall I enjoyed the stay here

There was no lounge area so you had an option of sitting in your room or walking the village,...

The staff are friendly and welcoming on arrival, rooms are mainly in the annex to the rear of the main hotel. Room was clean and tidy with plenty of space. Meals are served in the restaurant in the main hotel, meals are basic but...

A group of us on a National New Year trip. This is a good hotel which could be very good should a few little details be seen to (thus the title). But first the pros. Rooms- clean, comfortable with good clothes hanging / storing space. Good bathrooms. Ours were in the annex, short walk to main hotel ( a few...
