The hotel is good and the staff are lovely. Very welcoming, the food is lovely and the town is quiet and peaceful. It's a little far from transportation and taxi's are fairly expensive so would recommend hiring a car but the service received is second to none.

I loved this Hotel, it was nestled in the mountains about 5km from Lake Orta. It is a but of a distance if you were trying to stay close to the lake and there is limited public transport or taxis - therefore recommend that you bring your own car. The staff was friendly, food was great and ambiance was peaceful...

Stayed here for one night before we moved to another hotel and we had a lovely stay there! Grounds are very pretty, surrounded by greenery and pretty flowers I think it really looks quite beautiful when looking at it from the outside with the lovely chimes of a local church/bell tower and mountains to overlook it really does provide an...

Situated on one of the hills surrounding Lago d'Orta this hotel misses out on the lake view but never the less this is a good place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of lake side towns. A lovely outdoor swimming pool is on site so somewhere to chill on a hot day is close to hand. A modern...

We stayed at the Cortese Hotel in late August for three nights so that we could visit Lake Orta and Lake Maggiore whilst avoiding the crowds. It was, quite simply, perfect. Our room overlooked the gardens and the hills at the front and was comfortably air conditioned. Although it wasn't large, it was absolutely fine for what we required -...

A gem of a hotel situated in the countryside on the edge of Armeno village. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and are there to help you at all times. The food in the restaurant is an excellent standard, we chose the half board option and had a 3 course meal every evening. There is a really nice pool...

Great location in a small village just 10 minutes from Lago di Orta- The most beautiful and least crowded of the medium to large lakes of the Piedmont region. 20 minutes from Stressa on Lake Maggiore so you have the best of both worlds. Modern hotel with a very good regional restaurant and bar. Nice breakfast, too. Michelea at the front...

Hotel Cortese is located in a small, quiet, very beautiful village. It's a modern hotel set in beautiful gardens, with free parking. We were made to feel very welcome by the staff. The rooms are very cosy and comfortable with parquet flooring. Beds are extremely comfortable and we all slept very well. If you are seeking peace and quite this...

Really nice place to stay at, friendly and good food. Very helpful when it comes to tourism and giving hints about what to see in the area! At first the receptionist was very helpful and always giving us tips and at the end of the trip I asked the man who his boss was to give him some credit for...
