I don't think we will ever stay anywhere better than Sabuk. The location is breathtaking. Verity and her staff are the perfect hosts. The accommodation is beautiful and unique and the lodges actually compliment the area. The food is faultless (plus the camel ride and horse rides to our bush breakfasts were fantastic). Robert and Kumbau are amazing guides. Prices...

Our family stayed here last month for several days. The rooms were wonderful, the staff was generous, and the experience memorable. Will absolutely recommend this place to anyone, and will absolutely look forward to a return visit. Thank you Verity, for an amazing time. xoxo

We flew in a chartered Cessna from Naivasha to Laikipia airstrip (45 minutes) where we were met by charming staff of Sabuk Lodge, and driven to our wonderful accommodation for 2 nights. The Lodge comprises several unique and breathtaking rooms, all essentially open to the elements as there were no windows but creatively and very comfortably fashioned into the rocks....

SABUK Lodge is so different from anything we have ever seen it is hard to compare or even to describe. Think The Flinstones meets The Australian Outback meets The Ritz and you're getting somewhere. There were 35 staff to look after two of us! This included kitchen staff, security, waiters, guides, animal herders, Rangers, et al. Dinner under the stars...

My husband and I stayed for two nights at this gorgeous place and didn't want to leave! We drove ourselves from nanyuki. The directions given from sabuk are easy to follow. If you have driven in Kenya before you will know the roads are very bumpy especially the mud tracks to sabuk, recommend a very sturdy car with great suspension :-)...

Flew from Nairobi in a small twelve seat plane. Was met at the airstrip by my guide and guard. Drive to Sabuk as approx 45 mins, depending on the road conditions. You see game on the drive and can stop if you want. I was one of the groups of guests on the first day. Get settled in with lunch...

We had a delightful time at Sabuk. The lodge is overlooking the river and the setting is absolutely stunning. The rooms are completely opened, which is both rare and fantastic. The view from our room was obstructed by branches but it might have been for safety reasons as we were overlooking the cliff. The rooms are very comfortable and well...

A really special stay .... A lodge in the Laikipia wilderness with incredible open faced rooms overlooking a stunning river gorge....impeccable service and truly hospitable host Verity who seemlessly arranged every detail of the stay to perfection. We had a wonderful picnic by the river, camel and donkey rides for the kids and a walking safari where we saw elephants...

I had a very nice experience, I couldn’t see the river from my bed, but the view from the shower was so nice. Variety is such a wonderful hostess, very welcoming, she saw me off when I went for my activities and greeted me at the entrance when I came back. I did enjoy sitting around the fireplace in the...
