Stayed in the most beautiful luxury lodge that had incredible views over the game reserve. One of the best moments was waking up to a giraffe walking right past our lodge. The staff here became like family. The Solio team couldn't do enough for us and the service provided was second to none. Food here was amazing - couldn't be...

The lodge is small, just 5 cabins. Ours was superb - a luxurious room, with fireplace, and even another fireplace in the gigantic bathroom. There are windows from floor to ceiling, so you can watch the wildlife pass by your windows. Meals are tasty, especially the breakfasts. Our driver/guide Ole was superb, knowing just where to take us to see...

Solio is known as a rhino conservancy, but it is so much more!!! First of all Solio has Eva!!! What a truly gorgeous host! She welcomed us like a long lost friend! It definitely rubs off on to the entire team because every, single one was warm, friendly and always smiling. Not to mention Eva is an amazing cook, and...

Our family had a fantastic weekend at Solio. We were expecting lots of rhinos in the Conservancy (and there were!) but we were so surprised and happy to see lions and cheetahs also! We watched a family of 8 cubs, 4 females and one maned lion just playing and hanging out. It was wonderful. Beyond the game drives, Solio is...

I have nothing but praise for Solio Lodge. The concept of a lodge within the rhino conservancy is brilliant and works extraordinarily well. Ava and her assistant Agnes, together with their excellent team of staff provide guests with a superb experience as they really care about looking after their every need; nothing is too much trouble. The sheer size and...

We went to Solio Lodge for a weekend from Nairobi. Friends had recommended it and we checked out the website before making a reservation. The photos don't do justice to the initial overwhelming reaction we had when we were welcomed and we walked into the main lodge. And then the cottages... In addition to the beautiful and large spaces what...

Solio Lodge is located in a 19,000 acre preserve for rhino repopulation. We had a magical time at Solio. Our room was very well done, with a huge shower, double lavatory, fireplace. We would return each night from dinner to a great fire in our fireplace (yes, on the Equator in August, it was cold at night, believe me). Agnes...
