Andy and Sonja, as ever, are great hosts, ably helped by Andrew - the Assistant Manager. I had another great stay there. The camp staff work efficiently and nothing is too much trouble for them. I love the hot water bottles waiting in the bed, really welcoming on a chilly night! Sonja's food is very special, her 'nuts and wild...

We spent 3 lovely nights at Kicheche Laikipia Camp at the start of our holiday and from the moment we arrived, it had a great feeling about it. It wasn't pretentious and having been on safari before, it was exactly what we had hoped for. Sonja and Andrew are very down to earth people and because the camp is also...

We stayed at the camp in early November 2013. Its a small camp with 6 tents. The tents are comfortable but be aware the showers were bucket showers. Quaint and fun but we were unlucky and while there, it rained a lot! Really would have appreciated a long hot shower… The hosts Andy and Sonja were really lovely. Very helpful...

Dear Kerstin B Thank you for staying with us and taking the time to post your review. We are sorry that it rained a lot during your stay though we are all fortunate that our wildlife does not go away come rain, hail or shine. The comment you made regarding bucket showers is really puzzling as we do not have...

We can only reiterate all the superlatives that have been used before - a lovely comfortable camp with Andy & Sonya as excellent hosts. It was very wet when we were there and the loan of wellies for our stay was much appreciated. The food was superb and there was always a good choice. We had good game viewing although...

Small camp , only 6 tented camps, the atmosphere is relaxed and homely , staff are very helpful and friendly. The camp has been done up beautifully. What I really liked in this package was the all inclusive drinks and game drives that come along with it. Also inclusive was the visit to the chimp sanctuary, rhino sanctuary and other...

I stayed at Kicheche Laikipia for three nights in August at the start of a longer safari holiday, and it was absolutely fantastic. Andy and Sonya, the managers, are extremely friendly and knowledgable - and the food is incredible. All of the staff are very friendly, and the tents are gorgeous. The safari itself was also fantastic - our guide,...

The food leaves the most lasting impression after the hospitality. The cuisine is diverse and you the camp ensures that the specific food restrictions of guests are fulfilled to perfection. The camp itself provides the rustic ambiance of a Kenyan safari. The tents are well equipped with showers and wireless gadgets for safety and there's staff at hand to ensure...

This was our first safari experience in June. It was still wetter than normal but this did not stop us having a truly memorable time. It has all been said before but worth repeating that Andy and Sonja are perfect effortless hosts. Accommodation and food are fantastic and we were were fortunate to have Andrew Obama as our guide...a legend...

Stayed here for the first time last week. Outstripped our expectations. Tented accommodation was excellent. The game drives were wonderful. Saw all the Big 5 thanks to Peter our driver. Our hosts Andy and Sonya were fantastic and made us feel at home from the start of our 3 night stay. The food was amazing considering it was prepared out...
