Only stayed here one night whilst walking the Cateran trail but would have liked to stay longer. Very comfortable, clean room and welcoming staff. Very tasty meal with great choice from menu and specials. The breakfast was excellent, setting me up for the day's walking.

Excellent bar after a sunny days walk for a quick liquid refreshment. Very welcoming staff, lovely room. Super evening meal and breakfast. Good selection of food on the menu with specials also. Forgot to add, nearly got lost in the lovely huge bed.

Ate here twice while walking the Cateran Trail. Superb food. We're vegetarians and there range of dishes was excellent, and very tasty. Between us we had beetroot and lentil burgers, a lasagne and tatie scone salad. All excellent. The meaty dishes looked great too.

My wife and I are currently on our honeymoon and taking our time visiting through Scotland and the hospitality the inn showed us was splendid. Beautiful seaonary surrounding the inn is nothing short of breath taking. It's only a short drive into Pitlochry which the inn highly recommend. Pitlochry has the smallest distillery in Scotland and a rich history to...

We were actually supposed to be staying at a lodge hotel nearby but were so disappointed by it that we went looking elsewhere. We'd seen the Strathardle as we drove in to the village and it looked so nice and welcoming that we thought we'd go for a drink with the dog and see if they had any spare rooms....

Stayed Easter Sunday night while walking the Cateran Trail, so despite an average mattress and high jinks in the bar we had a great stay. Welcome real ale choices, cheerful fire and some unexpected food choices - a super meal, delightfully served. All very reasonable and dog-friendly.

This place was such a nice surprise. I hadn't been for years and popped in over Easter for supper....I will definately make a return trip when I'm next up. Lovely warm friendly welcome, very cozy bar area (roaring log fire and dogs curled up in the corner), a very well thought through menu including varied choices for children and reasonably...

Very quiet when we visited last week - but given a very warm welcome made better by the log fire in the hearth. Alas only a short pit stop but our soup and homemade bread was excellent. The Cullen Skink was very tasty with good size chunks of smoked mackerel, potatoes and onion in a creamy sauce. My other half had...

We had a lovely satay here in a quiet comfortable room. We had a very comfortable bed and nice views of the river. Dinner was amazing and had a great whiskey selection. We also had a great selection for breakfast both continental and full Scottish. Lovley sevice in a family run hotel. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay for...

We needed to get away for a few quite days and found this little gem north of Perth. The room was beautiful (I believe it was the bridal suite?) with a huge bathroom and stunning view out the front of the hotel down to the river. The food was magnificent and the bar was well stocked and filled with friendly...
