How can I put it into words how amazing our stay was at the Mount Lofty. We went as a family of four with my husband and my teenagers. We had 2 rooms next 2 each other. Everything was 5 stars. They have thought of everything and the service was exceptional. Everyone will feel important and welcomed. The food was delicious both for dinner and breakfast. Make sure you take some warm clothes as it is a little cooler than other places in Adelaide even in the middle of summer.

A wonderful hotel set in the beautiful Adelaide Hills. We were looked after by the fantastic staff from the moment we arrived. Special thanks to Christopher, Guest Relations Manager, for his wonderfully insigtful tour of the house and providing so much history of this amazing place. We stayed in the Tower Suite and it felt more like an apartment with a downstairs sitting room and upstairs bedroom and ensuite. The turndown service with a glass of port and an artisinal chocolate was much appreciated. The dinners at both at Hardy's Verandah Restaurant and Martha's Kitchen Restaurant were delectable and served with great aplomb. What a wonderful idea to have a pescetarian 'degustation', an absolute delight accompanied by beautiful wine from one of the most extensive list I have encountered. A hearty, a la carte breakfast was also delicious. The grounds are stunning and adjoin the extensive botanic gardens making this one of the most memorable experiences we have had.....we'll be back!…

Excellent location and high level of luxury, but at the price charged some of the basics could be improved. For instance it should be possible to opt for linen not being changed every day and there should be an option for a lighter breakfast.

Mt Lofty House is definitely a place to go for a special occasion to treat yourself. We were greeted as soon as our car pulled up and promptly checked in with a glass of bubbly. We were luckily upgraded to the Comservatory room which was amazing. House tour and more free bubbly followed. Dinner at Hardy’s Verandah was superb and the wines and service were top class. We had complimentary cookies in our room and then port and chocolates when our beds were turned down. Breakfast was great and I would highly recommend Mt Lofty House to anyone wanting a special night out.

When you imagine being spoiled, we’ll Mount Lofty House lead the way. Amazing property with stunning gardens and views of Pinnacle Valley. Dining in Hardy’s Verandah was as good if not better than any dining experience I’ve had. One of the highlights was a tour of the property, recounting the history of the house, and expertly told by Christopher. Thanks to all for a memorable visit.

It took us 35 minutes from the airport. Plenty car parking. So easy. The Hotel staff, reception, really everyone were so helpful and friendly. A. special mention about Chris the hotel historian. He was fabulous . Nothing was a bother to go out of his way to help you. From a coffee order to a simple chat. Our rooms were spacious clean and tidy. The verandah restaurant with its amazing views of Adelaide hills -spectacular!! We were happy with our meals. Thankyou chefs. Beautiful beautiful property and surrounds. Only one thing I wished they had a beauty consultant to get pampered in the actual hotel itself.
