Welcome to Sequoia. See the South Australia you never knew existed. Sequoia is more than a luxurious lodge offering unparalleled experiences. Sequoia is the story of this region, its nature, and produce. Wherever you look and go, discover the land and its people, connect with the earth beneath your feet and find joy in the beauty of being. While being seemingly removed from the hustle and bustle of the world, Sequoia lies centred within the Adelaide region, forming the gateway to a South Australia you never knew existed. From here, savour world-class wines and delicate artisan food on exclusive terraces, in small sheds, or just on a picnic blanket. Explore the state’s pristine nature, the world’s largest koala population, and other incredible wildlife simply by foot, 4WD, or helicopter. Feel grounded and connected as you sit at the campfire by the valley rim, listening to the fascinating story of this ancient Aboriginal meeting place and its flamboyant colonial history. Fuel your body and mind with stone filtered spring water, deep breaths, peaceful sleep, and organic massage. Sequoia will be what you need it to be to feel full and reunited with the joy of being.

My wife and I needed a short stay within the Adelaide area. We are small business owners and time poor (to say the least) We wanted (needed) somewhere we could get away from the daily grind. Sequoia Lodge was the answer!!! Just a short trip up the freeway 15 minutes from home. Within the hour we felt miles away. It didn't even feel like we were in the Adelaide area. Greeted with a smile and champagne. Neck and shoulders anti-stress massage. Sat down for a beautiful dinner overlooking the Valley. The staff are amazing. The planning of our itinerary was meticulous. The food was fantastic. And Gatekeepers day spa was exactly what we needed. 3 days away felt like a week! Highly recommended to anyone. Even Adelaideans.

Hotel's Favourite
Without a doubt one of the most beautiful places we've been to. I went with my husband for 1 night and our only regret was that we didn't stay longer. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, our experience was outstanding. The room was so well thought of and planned out. From the comfort of the bed, to the well appointed bathroom, the complimentary mini bar, automated everything, the gorgeous fireplace and spectacular view, everything was top notch. The staff are so lovely and attentive without being overbearing and the whole vibe of the place is luxurious chill. We really felt like we had been on a little holiday after just one night and will definitely be back.

This secluded luxury resort deserves all the plaudits it receives- it truly is remarkable. From the welcoming glass of sparkling wine on checkin, to the magnificent views from each suite, the fully automated rooms, 4 way shower heads, and delightful pools and lounge- it was perfect. But it was the staff who really stood out- Nozomi, Holly, Elise in particular worked very hard and cheerfully to make out stay perfect. From rushing out with a fur throw for my mother when we returned after dinner out, in case she was cold, (she was!) to bringing out iceblocks when we were in the outdoor mineral spa, to efficient and delightful service at breakfast and dinner. We were so happy

What a magnificent resort. Everything was perfect. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The suite was amazing. Soooo relaxing, looking out over Piccadilly Valley. The bed was very comfortable with lovely linen. The bathroom was amazing with its water feature that could be closed off with a blind. So many buttons to make everything work! - blinds, fire, fan - all there. Thank you it was a beautiful 80th Birthday.

This, like many luxury lodges in Australia wows you. It’s the setting, great views of the Adelaide Hills and night sky, the wonderful staff, the suite and the catering. The welcome sets the tone and things get better. Adjacent to Mount Lofty House allows you to enjoy their restaurant HVR but the in house dining barely makes it worth while. The Lodge dining room/lounge/bar is great. It has its own kitchen. Outside there are 3 plunge pools of varying sizes and temperatures. I recommend it without reservation.

Great experience overall ,stunning views , service however overpriced when compared to other luxury accommodation where we have stayed in the past Hawaii, Europe. In addition there was only free to air TV , no Netflix Foxtel etc and no privacy around the pool area. Couch on balcony had some stains on it.

I took my wife here to. celebrate her birthday. The views, the facilities, the staff were all first class. You definitely feel looked after and cared for. Our overall experience was fantastic , including cheese and wine tasting, hot spa pool and a brilliant 5 course meal with matching wines at Hardy's Verandah restaurant.

This has to rate as one of the best villa resorts in the world. The staff were exceptional with real service and generosity. The locally sourced food and snacks were such a treat and the appointment of the room is luxurious and very well designed. We would recommend this without hesitation.
