Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had dinner at the hotel on a Wednesday night celebrating a birthday. We hade waitress Jade attend to us and she had fantastic. Nothing was to much trouble and we had some unusual requests. Food was perfect and service was fast. Jade was under pressure as the room was quite full but still attended to us. The atmosphere was perfect and we enjoyed the night.

Gorgeous Hotel, beautiful rooms. We stayed in Sawyer, it was just beautiful, very comfortable bed, lux towels & amenities. underfloor bathroom heating and complimentary mini bar. Although the rooms are upstairs, you would never know you were above the restaurant and bar. The restaurant was first class , attentive and very friendly staff, the wine room with a Sommelier who matched our wine to our amazing chefs choice dinner. A great location with easy reach of all Adelaide has to offer

We had a beautiful 2 night stay in the Heritage room which was very comfortable and beautifully designed. Our room had 2 doors opening up to private balcony, one from the bathroom and one from the bedroom. Having a gas fireplace in the room was bonus. The only negative would be that the freeway is very closeby and you can hear traffic noise when outside but not from inside your room. However,I would still definitely recommend staying here as it is in a perfect location to explore the Adelaide Hills region and and easy 20 min drive into the city.

We received a warm welcome and taken to our beautiful decorated Sawyer room. For dinner we chose the chef’s menu which was a sensory sensational experience. The wine sommelier showed us the wine cellar to an amazing wine collection! All the staff were warm, friendly and knowledgeable. It was a great stay and experience.

We both dined and stayed at The Crafers Hotel and it was excellent. The food is beautifully prepared and presented; the restaurant staff are friendly and happy. Our room was large, quiet, tastefully decorated and modern. It was a wonderful touch having well the stocked breakfast room, which included laundry facilities, near our room.

Very comfortable and stylish accommodation. Nothing I did not like about this establishment except that the mini bar only has beer! (No wine). Very quiet and the bed is very comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I would go back and stay at Crafers in a heartbeat.

We were really impressed with the staff and service at Crafers and couldn’t fault the experience. It was a really luxurious cozy room with beautiful touches. We thought the the price was really good value for the stay and being so close to the city but tucked in the Adelaide hills. Happily would stay again.

We had an amazing stay at the Crafers Hotel. It is very beautifully renovated, and everything is clean, new, but very boutique and cozy. The beds are super comfortable, and the balcony off the room was just gorgeous. The breakfast was just what we needed. Crafers is located so close to all of the gorgeous wineries of the Adelaide Hills. We also ate in the hotel restaurant which was beautiful, with great service. Would highly recommend this boutique hotel for a stay in the Adelaide Hills.

We are from Canberra and stayed at Crafers after a long trip across the Nullarbor to Perth and back. It was a joy to check into a lovely, quiet, very comfortable room. Even better was the restaurant downstairs where our meal was exceptional. Cannot fault anything at Crafers - it’s all done with comfort in mind.

We were here for 3 nights and our stay was perfect. The Heritage room with a balcony was lovely. Our bathroom with heated floor was great for winter. All the staff were friendly helpful and efficient. Our room was cleaned each day and the free minibar restocked. Meals were fresh and delicious, with plenty of choices and wines to match. I would recommend Crafers Hotel to anyone. It is a perfect place to stay in the Adelaide Hills.
