The hotel is greatly located on the Agia Marina boulevard with plenty of shops and restaurants on short walking distance and supermarket just across the street! Conveniently located at the beach (sunbeds 5 euro per pair). Rooms are small, no warm water in the mornings, airconditioning optional and fairly expensive per day. Breakfast is basic but ok.

We had a great experience at the hotel. The rooms are typical European-sized (this was new to me as I expected a larger room). The showers are hand-held which took some practice in order to not soak the bathroom. The staff was very warm and helpful. If they didn't know the answer, they called to find out. They helped me...

A seaside hotel with a beatiful view. Just a few rooms come with seaview. The rooms are nice, either on ground level or on first floor. The beds are very hard lacking top-mattress. If you need aircondition you need to pay extra, 8 euro/day which is quite a lot The staff are sometimes staff willing but too often that isn't...

Helpful and friendly staff at reception and breakfast hall. Not to mention the family run restaurant by the pool, they are very good at what they do and the food allways up to standards. Frequent change of towels and linens and the room was true to its price range an quite good enough unless you plan to stay there 24hrs...

Hotel Marina Sands is a great hotel in Chania. We enjoyed our stay there and we are planning to visit it again next year. The rooms were clean, the breakfast very tasty and the staff very friendly. It was a value for money choice!

The hotel is located next to the most expensive hotel in Agia Marina called Thalessa, which says a whole bunch about the location! Quiet close to Platanias(10 min walk). The hotel itself is very nice and feels just like Greece! The breakfast isn't the best I've had but quiet good for the price you pay. Just across the street there...
