Vai Moana means blue water, and like the sea of Rapa Nui it is a warm and very nice place to stay. in Vai Moana you stay in a comfortable cabin surrounded by an exuberant and tropical garden. The breakfast is good and abundant. The dinning room is beautiful, and very romantic in the night. The staff people is friendly...

Really loved this place. You will be staying in large, no frill cabanas with patios overlooking a tropical garden. There are lots of happy chickens and roosters living in the garden, who are doing their jobs in the early morning hours by announcing the dawn of a new day. If this bothers you, you better bring ear plugs. The rooms...

Stayed here five nights and it is an acceptable hotel. The room was clean, quite and comfortable bed. The location is good, just a couple of blocks from Ahu Tahai moai (which is best for sunset), beach and restaurants. They have beautiful gardens and very nice small pool. They have a nice breakfast that was included, different dishes each day....

Hotels on Easter Island tend to be basic and expensive for what they offer, and this was no exception. I would recommend this hotel, but it’s important to know what you’re getting. The Good: The location is great. It’s an easy walk to Hanga Roa and Ahu Tahai. The setting is lovely, with small cabanas clustered in a well maintained...

So getting there and after the first day or two, I had thought the hotel was at best a 2 out of 5 because the guy who runs the hotel is a bit stand-offish. He didn't really portray himself as kind nor did any of the office or bar or cafe workers. As we stayed longer, the hard exteriors did...

Been there for 5 days, the rooms were cozy, the breakfast was a buffet type and I loved it. Disadvantages: there's no one in the hobby past midnight, the breakfast is not ready until 8:00 (When I needed to leave early there was no breakfast) and the pool is quite small, not very attractive. Anyway, the days I spent there...

Stayed at the Hotel Vai Moana for 3 nights with my husband and daughter. The staff - especially Pillar was very helpful and set up 2 great tours for us to see the Moai and the Island. She also booked a show for us Kari Kari which was fun. We were greeted at the airport and taken to the hotel....

Me and my 5 years old son stayed for a week there, is a very quite and peaceful place, so close for everyplace, so, you don´t need to take taxi to the downtown. Also you can walk to see the museum and the national park Rapa Nui. Breakfast was good, and the staff very nice and helpful.

The hotel has very nice bungalows that are not well sound proofed, but the layout is very nice and spacious. The common areas are comfortable and have a good-enough internet that is limited by the island's internet availability. The internet is advertised as free, but there is a US$ 6 dollar charge good for the whole stay. The staff is...
