The best thing about this lovely hotel is the friendly and helpful staff. I was greeted with a cool drink and a rundown of things to do and see. This included some great tips that meant I got the most out of my time there. It also meant I quickly joined up with other travellers. The room was clean and... More

Have to agree with Danu S that cleanliness is quite an issue here. Pros : 1. Very quiet at night, except for some dogs barking away 2. Safe 3. The manager, Maria offers a quick tour of the island when she picks you up. 4. Staff are friendly and helpful Cons: 1. Away from many shops, restaurants and main amenities... More

The staff is very helpful and can plan out your trip for you. We already had our tours arranged. The bathrooms were clean and had hot water. Beds were comfortable. There is no air conditioning and it can get a bit hot in the room especially since the rooms take in the afternoon sun, but it generally got cool enough... More

Had a great time, although very short stay, the host was very patient and arranged all the necessary transportation and tours. The location is near the local LAN office and not far from the main street.

Stayed here about 8 days from May 9th-17th 2015. Room was cleaned daily. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great, beds were very comfortable and the location was ideal! Internet ads many have said was spotty and out much of the time, however this is typical of much of the island. I would recommend renting a car... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed our stay. It is ideally located just a short walk from the Main Street/restaurants/shops but not to worry the owner will give you a quick tour of the town once she picks you up from the airport to get your bearings. The accommodation itself is nice but basic, linen & towels could... More

We were greeted by Maria at the Airport and given a tour around the island which was very useful. She recommended restaurants, shows and the possibility of tours & hiring vehicles. We were given a fresh fruit juice on our arrival to the hotel and thought we were onto a winner. Things soon went downhill. The 1st floor room was... More

I found the location of the hotel very convenient – just halfway between the main street of Hanga Roa and the coast. Accommodation was clean and functional, breakfast basic but sufficient. As already mentioned by many travellers, do not expect reliable Wi-Fi connection generally on the island. What makes this hotel special is the staff – very nice ladies that... More

We thought this was a poor hotel, even by Easter island standards, no. TV, no phone, no fridge, no fan just bare walls and it was hot. The sink in the bathroom smelt bad. We moved hotels. It's probably acceptable on a limited budget or backpacking but we had paid a lot of money for a trip to the island... More
