We chose this hotel as it had consistently received many positive reviews. It did not disappoint us. Jakorb the manager was extremely helpful and went out of his way to get us on tours at short notice. All the staff were always very helpful. The hotel is literally walking distance from the airport but don't worry there's only one or...

To be honest we weren't expecting much of the island hotels but we were pleasantly surprised The rooms are all on ground level and the interior is all wood The shower is one of those massaging ones and you have the tv, hairdryer and safe The grounds are really pretty and the staff are really friendly The only negative here...

Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, great pool, very good breakfast. Evening food only available if pre ordered, but there are many lovely restaurants in Hanga Roa, so do try them! Walking into town took about twenty minutes, just right.

Thank you for stying with Hotel PUKU VAI, Easter Island! We have a great restaurant on-site but, if you prefer to eat in one of the restaurants of Hanga Roa (and see one of the Polynesian shows, as well), we're happy to recommend you good options. All the best!

Not only were the accommodations great the service was exceptional. We were greeted at the front desk with fresh fruit juice. Breakfast each morning was awesome, authentic Chilean breakfast but also offered cereal and eggs cooked to order. Front desk help always helpful and accommodating . Beach towels available just ask. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the airport. The refreshing welcome drink was quite welcome as despite the short walk, it was quite warm. The walk to town is about 20 minutes, but I do have long legs. We did rent scooters for one of the days and it is literally a 3 minute ride from town to...

Thank you for choosing Hotel PUKU VAI and KIA KOE Tour as your travel specialists during your stay on Easter Island! This Hotel is just ok; it is located far enough from Hanga Roa to make it unwalkable. The rooms are dated and a bit drab. My room was located on a side near a neighbor with a rooster who crowed from 3:00 am through noon. Sleep was difficult. The Hotel has a dining room but no one seemed to eat...

Thank you for choosing Hotel PUKU VAI, Easter Island! Naturally, we're sorry roosters did bother you. However, you might consider roosters as a part of the Easter Island experience (I'd say there's no corner on the island where you're not accompanied by them). In case you do some tours, make sure you ask your tour guide about their origin and...

This family operated hotel is a wonderful place for rest & relaxation between tours of Easter Island. The breakfasts are sumptuous and customized. The manager was full of helpful suggestions for things to do and provided cost effective alternatives. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The lighting in the rooms is weak and the wifi is sluggish but I...

The hotel is a 30 min walk from Hanga Roa but we used taxis to save time. They are quick and efficient at200 clp per trip. Hotel is described as simple but is very good at what it does. Thank you for staying with Hotel PUKU VAI, Easter Island! The Architecture of Hotel PUKU VAI is Scandinavian design meaning simplicity and functionality are it's main principles, just like you noted. Due to the modularity, Hotel PUKU VAI includes details not many hotels in Easter Island is able to provide. The most important is that each room has an individual...

Sometimes I read hotel reviews where the reviewer states that they were made to feel like family and I think, ‘yeah, okay.’ Hotel Puku Vai really does give that warm and welcoming feeling, though. Thank you for choosing Hotel PUKU VAI and KIA KOE Tour! We appreciate your review including several details underlining how special we are. We stayed at Hotel Puku Vai for 3 nights: - Location: it's around 25 min walk to the main streets. Thank you for your review! Hotel PUKU VAI is very conveniently located hotel in Easter Island. We're not far from the main attractions of Hanga Roa but far enough from the noisy downtown.
