We have just returned from 5 days at the Ponterosa which, although the place was at first difficult to find, we then relaxed and enjoyed our stay tremendously. The proprietor, Jayne, was just lovely with an easy-going and friendly manner; a real "people person". My partner, Alfie, and I had gone to St.Florence to do some of my family history...

Just ignore Graham, this is for mature people 1 spider and a moth, a cow that mooed?? This is the beautifull Welsh countryside what do you expect? !! A super place to stay, we (my husband and I and our dog) are glad we weren't put off by the previous reviewer as we would have really missed out if we'd stayed elsewhere. Lovely, clean accommodation with friendly owners. La Ponterosa is dog friendly but certainly did not smell 'doggy', in fact there was no sign that dogs had...

Stayed one night and hated it. Entered our room (room 1) and was met with the bed straight in of me, so had to hump my suitcase over the bed. B&B was quite hard to find as directions from website were of no use and took us to wrong place. We had insects - large spider and moth inside the...
