Located on the Beach you can not expect any better location in LINDI , a small town in southern part of Tanzania. The building is impressive overlooking sea but once you check in you would find a lot to complain. The room is quite large and have attached balcony. But Air Conditioner in some rooms does not work efficiently , fan...

Lindi Beach Resort needs urgent attention, building is almost falling apart from the gate right through to their rooms and restaurant. The staff are quite welcoming and friendly and the beverage service is great. Food is ok, much improvement can be done on the catering side. Great views from the restaurant or any of the rooms on the first floor....

The Lindi beach resort describes itself as a 'Luxury' hotel. While it doesn't exactly have prices to match those in Dar or Zanzibar, at TSH70,000 a night for one person (I'm guessing $70 for foreigners) it's expensive by Lindi standards. But this place offers the kind of service you would get in a TSH20,000 lodge. The beds are wobbly, the...

However, we were able to try out the food at the resort. The resort offers very limited options in the food department and have to...

The only positives to this hotel are that it's right along the beach (although rooms are constructed to look over the empty pool instead of at the ocean) and they serve a delicious fresh juice for breakfast. Other than that there are no seats on any of the toilets in the rooms, the aircons don't work 100%, the restaurant takes...

My second visit for business to Lindi and staying over. I learnt that it is now called the Peace Beach Resort. Is this to avoid the poor historic reviews? The service is poor and the hotel is run down. No toilet seat. Dirty cushions. The swimming pool was not filled for a long time (destroyed PVC liner proof of it)....

This was one of the terrible hotels that I have spent a night in it. We had arrived in Lindi with family on Christmas Day and we never expected a beach resort to be kept in the worst condition. When we arrived we decided to check the rooms, it was very disappointing to see the rooms have not been maintained...

Stayed recently at this property. The property itself is excellent on the beach which has the Indian ocean and an excellent view of the sun rise. Rest everything is downhill. The rooms although are large enough, do not have proper lighting and the fans are broken. One day even the bed gave way and had to call the carpenter to...
