This place is really well managed by two very friendly English people who made us feel extremely welcome. The bedroom had a small balcony with sea views in the distance. I was delighted to find Egyptian cotton sheets and an extra comfy mattress. Free private parking across the road. The chef there was incredible. Being a vegetarian it can be...

We were welcomed as if entering someone's home. Jed and Amanda were attentive hosts as well as being charming, funny and kind. All the staff are warm and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable; the balconies looking out to sea are a good addition. The food and drink is what this lovely little hotel is renowned for. The food...

We stay happily in 2-4 star lodgings, usually under one hundred euros, but often pay more if we think it will be a special experience. Here we chose a more expensive sea view room. Don't bother. No one present to let us in nor check us out - a restaurant employee happened by. Courtyard was not clean, though our room...

We found this absolutely charming hotel last year and had a fantastic stay. As we were getting married this year we thought it would be lovely to go back after our wedding and have a blessing in the courtyard and a meal with the 8 guests that accompanied us. We contacted Jed and Amanda a full 8 months in advance...

I think this is one of the most gorgeous boutique hotels I have ever stayed in. I loved it. We only stayed one night but I could have stayed forever. The courtyards, the terraces, the amazing food, the charming owners, the wonderful Maria - everything was wonderful. I would love to visit again. Lori and Daniel from NS Canada

My wife, our 13 month old son and I ate dinner in the restaurant circa 15 September. We did not stay in the hotel. We had an excellent experience. We got a great welcome when we arrived, and a table was set up for us outside. As we waited, we had a G&T at the bar with the owner -...

We had a fabulous dinner tonight at La Tartana and our French host was equally fabulous with great food and excellent service. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to our friends and family. Quality food in a beautiful setting 😋

We booked for one night but stayed for two. A good recommendation. Our English hosts could not have been more friendly and helpful. My suitcase was quickly repaired and a bottle of house white was happily consumed on our spacious terrace. Sadly it is situated near a noisy road but the overall ambience of la tartana and professionalism of the...

It is with a little trepidation that I write this review since I can see that the person who may respond on behalf of the hotel can be a little confrontational with those who don't give a glowing report. Our stay here represented a special occasion so we booked the best room at a cost of €135 for one night....

Dear Oska, Robert. Thank you for your review but, you should not feel any trepidation about expressing your experience, we are only confrontational with reviews submitted which are written by competition hotels and restaurants or just blatant liars who think its fun to discredit businesses purley for the hell of it. Tripadvisor sometimes seems like a poison chalice but, in...
