Our first stop on the way to Austria, I expect this hotel has been in the owners hands for many years, it was lovely to be in an unmodernised and unmolested hotel, still had on suite, floors lovely and creaky, parking for cars right outside no charge. Loved the breakfast, not the usual laid out buffet type so was a... More

If you want somewhere with lots of character and run by real (friendly!) people, then this is the place for you. It has plenty of charm (I usually prefer quite modern, boutique hotels, but this place had such character and history, it was hard not to be delighted), here's a pretty garden/yard out the back where you can sit on... A classic hotel in the Belgian Ardennes. Old hotel with loads of atmosphere and a very personal touch from the owners. It is not a hotel with modern facilities, but lots of history. Floors are squeaky, the rooms a somewhat worn and dark, and the bathroom is a little old, but if you do not need a modern European hotel,... More

The only good thing about this hotel is the bed being comfortable and "the old antique feeling", the latter of which I couldn't appreciate because I wasn't here to sighttsee, I was here on business for 2 days. Wi-fi was not accessible in the rooms. The breakfast was a real big disappointment. I was only given a single croissant and... More

This was the first hoel we stayed during our trip by car through the Ardennes and the best. I don't know where to start when describing this hotel! Let's start with the only more 'negative' thing of this hotel. Being people who are used to take a shower, it was a surprise not to have one when arriving but it... More

Stayed here for 1 night on our journey to Italy. Steeped in old world charm and excellent value for money. With a building this old there are the usual creaks and groans from floorboards and doors, however it all adds to the charm of this old hotel. It is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was a delight and... More

The location is opposite the castle of Rochefort. We were lucky and could enjoy the view from our room. It's als close to the restaurants and bars. The place itself is a very old building, but the rooms are clean and have free wifi. Staff speaks little else than French, but was friendly and helpful. Happy to stay there again,... More

My husband and i just spent the night at this amazing little hotel. I am in love with Le Vieux Logis! It is more of a bed and breakfast than a hotel, and it has the warm and loving feel of a building that has been a member of a family. From the outside, the building itself is aged in... More

This is a great hotel for people who love a small scale old hotel in a three centuries old building. It's located at a three minute walk to the village centre. The hotel is at a busy road, we prefer a room at the backside of the hotel, but the charming castle of the city can be viewed from the... More
