Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautiful house in a lovely location. Big enough to accomodate the 12 people in our party. Each bedroom has its own ensuite and AC which made travelling with the big group easy. Huge living spaces, and lots of quiet spots to retreat with a cup of tea and a book. Kitchen is really well equiped as well. House is full of interesting antiques and collectibles and the hosts are very attentive and helpful.

What can I say except that our stay at the Falls was just perfect! I can't believe it has taken us 9 years to return to the The Falls and our weekend stay in the Tamarind cottage was even better then we remembered. Everything has been thought of and meticulously created, without feeling over the top. Our cabin was incredibly clean, the breakfast provisions were extremely fresh and very generous. The wood fire was stacked and ready to go on our arrival. The large spa overlooking the beautiful rainforest was an absolute treat. Another touch that made our experience great was the complimentary shuttle to a local restaurant for Saturday night dinner. Alan and Aryna really know how make people feel perfectly at home and catered for, while providing excellent privacy. We will definitely be back, much sooner this time.

What an amazing place. From the fabulous walkway to your private little house , and the very well equipped facilities a great find. Well stocked breakfast produce , and a very private position, ours overlooked the escarpment. Alan met us on arrival at 7.30pm and ran our cases down to our guest house. It was dark so we didn’t see our view until the morning and it didn’t disappoint. We were there for 3 days and we had our breakfast replenished for day 3 , we simply had to ask. Lovely hosts and a lovely place to chill The town itself is on your doorstep and really nice .

Alan and Aryna are fantastic hosts and made my wife and I feel welcome right from the start. This is our second stay at Rosebud Cottage which has everything you need. The amazing food hamper, which is topped as you use items, is great and its very easy to cook up brekky if you aren't eating out. The bed was very comfortable and the cottage is beautifully furnished. In winter our previous stay it was great to get the log fire going. The cottage and the other cottages are very private. In terms of location it is very close to Montville and is in an ideal location.

The Manor House at the Falls Montville was the perfect destination for our group of 10 friends who came to relax, walk and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. The location is beautifully set amongst tranquil forest and has amazing views. The magnificent house is decorated with superb art and furniture and was very spacious for our large group. Our friendly hosts, Alan and Aryan were so attentive, very welcoming and accommodating. We were spoilt with their generous supply of local produce for our breakfast provisions. I can highly recommend The Manor House for a unique experience, and can't wait to revisit in the future.

This was our second visit to this truly beautiful spot. Alan and Aryna were welcoming and gracious hosts who catered to our every need. Set snuggly into the rainforest, our cabin was well appointed and clean. Our hosts delivered fresh pastries each morning of our 5 night stay and we were well appointed with fresh produce for a hot breakfast. The gentle morning call of the whip bird, made us feel as though we were the only two people for miles and added to the tranquility. The Falls truly is a special location and I would highly recommend a visit to anyone looking for accommodation in the area. We will be back.

Where do we start? First of all the accommodation ,we stayed in the Tamarind cottage in the most tranquil area of The Falls surrounded by nature at its finest, beautifully decorated and very spacious , every detail was thought out ,decanter of port fridge full of goodies Rose's dressing gowns etc .The location is fantastic a 15 minute walk to Montville lots of lovely café and shopping, or a walk to the Falls stunning scenery. Our hosts Alan & Aryan were the most amazing couple so attentive and nothing was to much trouble , they where a delight welcoming us with a lovely coffee a fresh warm bread ,they made us feel right at home and went above and beyond taking us to different restaurants and picking us up after dinner .To sum up the whole experience was magical and one we will never forget ,I would recommend that you pay a visit we hope to return from Scotland in the near future and have made friends for life

We had a lovely stay at the The Falls Montville. Alan and Arya are kind and generous hosts. We stayed in the Roseapple cottage and enjoyed its position overlooking the valley. The rooms were clean and comfortable with nice touches like fresh roses, port and chocolates. The breakfast provisions were generous with the highlight being fresh baked croissants and pastries (modest quantity of these but exceptional quality!). The hosts went out of their way to make sure our stay was optimised and Alan has lots of good stories to tell. His advice on nearby restaurants was spot on, with The Kondalilla Falls restaurant a particular highlight. Highly recommend this place. A winter stay likely to be even better with the in room fireplace.

I booked the manor house for 8 people to celebrate a very special occasion. On arrival we were given a personal tour of the beautiful house and grounds. The rain was no problem as there was lots to do undercover, and plenty of space if we wanted to be on our own. We were recommended catering by the owners and were really glad we did because the food - entree, main, and dessert - was delicious!! It was a truly remarkable experience and the only regret was that we couldn't stay longer.

Amazing place, the best hosts. Would definitely recommend. All the little things made for a great trip including fresh pastries brought every morning to our cottages. Nothing too much trouble for the hosts. Perfect!
