My husband and I enjoyed our 10 year anniversary at Secrets recently and it surpassed our expectations. We stayed in the Secrets Treehouse for 2 nights which was stunning, the attention to detail was superb, views were gorgeous, my personal favourite being the outlook from the shower to a waterfall (although not quite flowing when we were there, it was...

Hello Natalee We are so pleased you enjoyed staying with us in Secrets. You have mentioned so many of the special features that we delight in being able to provide. This area has had lots of rain recently so the waterfall is running. Did you try our cafe? It is a special feature as well. Thanks for your great words....

My wife and I spend a week here every year it's a quiet private paradise. The owner operators George and Aldi are fantastic people and do everything to ensure your stay will be one to remember. Secrets have several lux cabins to choose from but the Whistle Stop is an old train station that has been converted into private accommodation...

Hello and many thanks for your lovely review. The Whistle Stop has recently been given a makeover and is looking particularly swish at present. It was in fact the Beerburrum railway station and was closed down early 90's Of course it was a retrograde step as they have had to re-open , the more people wish to use rail rather...

My partner and I have now stayed at Secrets on the Lakes twice and have loved every stay. The staff are very welcoming and accomodating, and we loved the welcome hampers you receive upon arrival. There is an array of BBQ or champagne hampers you can opt for upon arrival which is very helpful. The tree houses are set in...

We stayed in 'the nest', the rooms are amazing and so are the grounds. It was the staff & the service we received that helped make our stay so magical. Will be back again soon. THANK-YOU Geoff & Heidi

I had been referred to Secrets on The Lake by a friend and I wasn't disappointed. It is a pleasant drive to reach this secluded gem overlooking Lake Baroon (Baroon Pocket Dam) at Montville. The setting is really nice and with so much timber used in the construction and being amongst the trees, the buildings are very attractive. Upon entering...

Thanks Dave for taking the time to review your experience at Secrets. I will pass onto the chef your comment about his food he will be delighted. As for the treehouses and all the wood carving etc George and Rob and the team have been very busy bringing it back to pristine, painting, maintaining and sprucing the gardens as we...

Secrets had been recommended to me so I booked for a couple of nights as a surprise and also for lunch. The lunch and service was top class but the stay in the tree house (We booked "The Bower") surpassed all expectations. The generous breakfast basket had more than enough goodies (including wine) for two people, especially coupled with the...

Hello Ross Thankyou for your wonderful review. You didn't miss a thing. Our product has been honed for 20 years now and I am loathe to change a thing as it is what we have been told from 20 years of questionnaires. As for why to come here. I believe that it is a once in a lifetime experience. Needed...

Secrets on the Lake is peaceful, magical, enchanting and was a truly wonderful experience. The location on the lake and the beautiful gardens and the intricate wood carvings added to the magic of this exceptional retreat. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful and informative. All areas were immaculate, nothing to fault. My husband and I stayed in the Lizards...

Hello to you both. Thank you for reviewing your stay with us. As guests it was a pleasure to have you stay in Lizards Lair. It is often said that our photos are not as good as the real thing. Which says a lot for how lovely the treehouses actually are. I have passed your comment "immaculate" to my housekeepers....

TAKE ME BACK!!!! We stayed in the Secrets cabin and within 10 minutes, that's how long it took me to realise I wasn't dreaming, I took my watch off and forgot time existed. Simply beautiful, from the hospitality to the view. Secrets on the Lake does not put a foot wrong. Our lodge was so beautiful we didn't want to...

I recently took my parents here for morning tea on their visit up from Melbourne and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There was a lovely selection of cakes and the coffee was great. The staff were friendly and we felt well looked after. The winner, however, is the setting. There is nothing quite like sitting in a giant tree house nestled...

I surprised my husband with a weekend away to Secrets on the Lake for our 20 year anniversary. We stayed in the Secrets treehouse. I am so pleased you enjoyed your experience at Secrets in our special "Secrets" cabin. Recently George has taken over the gardens from our long time gardener and he is having a planting frenzy and with the recent rain everything is gleaming in the gardens. We also have taken the time to give all the treehouses some extra TLC so...
