You can’t beat the location and view. While spacious, the cabins definitely need a refresh and were quite ordinary. With that said, a few comments depending on what type of visit this is for you. The cabin is open plan with the bedroom 4 steps down from the living area. Right in the middle of the downstairs area is a spa open to all. That has a shower head in it. Definitely not for people who don’t want to shower in front of others. Also, if you are not nimble, getting in and out of the spa is close to dangerous. Definitely for young couples who want to curl up together. While the breakfast was “generous”, the eggs and bacon were in the fridge for you to cook yourself. That did not thrill me as we had paid a fair bit for this “luxury” accommodation. When we noted the sign that said we would be charged $50 if we didn’t leave the kitchen sparkling (meaning not only did we have to cook our breakfast but totally clean up afterwards). Again, as we were on holiday that did not appeal. Wish that had been spelled out ahead of time. We simply wrapped up the eggs and bacon to take home and went to a local cafe.

Probably best as a couples retreat … small item but the tv was in the living room and none in the bedroom area. No wifi btw. In all, disappointed that the cabin looked and felt very “tired”.

We spent two nights at Seaview Treetops. For couples, the cabin worked fine. Clean and comfortable bed. Well laid out and very convenient to shops in Montville (5 minute walk). It was quiet, no road noise. Kitchen area was comfortable and well stocked for a short stay.

I can't recommend Treetops to the elderly as the steep driveway, and deep shower will be tricky for anybody with mobility problems.

At $345 per night it is at the higher end of the price range for this style of accommodation and the value for money proposition will differ between guests.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay, everything worked, great location and the memory of the view stays with you when you leave.

We stayed in the Kookaburra room for 3 nights. On the plus side; (1) really beautiful views, (2) quiet and peaceful setting, (3) no interruptions from staff or neighbours, (4) no internet and variable phone connection (we were happy to be unplugged). On the negative side; (1) couch and cushions weren't the cleanest (2) breakfast was okay - some variety was provided but some aspects disappointing (one very small fruit plate for 2 people for 3 days). Overall, it was a very lovely place and we enjoyed out stay. It didn't quite have the same level of little touches that some other local cabins have (there was no dishwasher, barbecue, birdseed and bird feeders, DVD libraries etc), which we expected for the price, but it is a beautiful place and we had a wonderful stay.

The photos used to advertise the units had a large balcony, which was really why we booked to stay here, with intention of sitting on the balcony regardless of if it rained, and enjoying the views.
We were really disappointed on the arrival to our unit, which was 2nd room from the boom gate at the top of the drive way, attached to the cleaners storage, which was attached to another unit. The first thing to hit us on entry was the dreadful wet musky smell throughout. This smell did not clear the whole 3 nights we were there, so this made staying inside and sleeping very unpleasant. As mentioned by many others, the bed was hard and uncomfortable, this combined with the smell made for sleepless nights and a sore neck and back the following mornings. Our balcony was quarter of the size advertised, with no cover above, it was absolutely useless in the rain, which we had 3 days of. w
We did not use the balcony at all, it certainly was not inviting. Our views were mostly of the gumtrees that surrounded the balcony, the best view was from the toilet window.
The unit was clean and the breakfast was more than enough food.
The 3 nights were spent feeling uncomfortable and wishing we could have got a refund, if that was an option we would have walked out the minute we walked in.
Very little money has been invested in the up keep of the unit.

My partner and I just returned home from a three night stay here. Neither of us could fault anything. We were checked in by the lovely Polly. The grounds man Graham was an absolute delight and, Rosemary who we had the pleasure of meeting during our stay and on departure was also lovely to deal with. The accomodation is amazing. I did read some reviews prior to our trip, where people had commented on the cleanliness of the cabins. I’m a complete clean freak and was slightly worried about these reviews, to the point we packed some cleaning products with us! I have to say our cabin was absolutely sparkling clean. We had no complaints whatsoever. The apartment has everything you could need or want during your stay, from the plentiful breakfast hamper, massive stack of firewood, lots of towels, fluffy warm dressing gowns and, all the other little bits you would find in any hotel room. The views are amazing. The view from the spa was amazing. Treetops Seaview was exactly what we had hoped for on our trip and it 100% delivered! We will definitely be back. I’d read past any bad reviews. We absolutely could not fault anything 😊

Bed is comfy as , but I prefer stiffer pillow as theirs if fluffy as .
The views are literally breath taking . And in the spar looking out over the coast and mountains day or nite is beautiful .
Shops close by butvi stay indoors mainly .
One night and I want to live here . Everything is at your bekon call ,
or you don't see a soul .
I'll be coming back for sure , most relaxing and quite time I've had ever anywhere in three days . First nite was a release of everything you needed to chill and get away from everything.
Very highly recommended for folk who Like beautiful views and tranquillity . 10 stars 🌟

Beautiful quite cabin and the breath taking view. Great for weekend away. Cottage has 2 baths, one inside and the other one outdoor
Fully functional kitchen can allow you bring food to cook. Cottage also has a fireplace. However only has board games; TV and DVD systems, doesn’t have smart TV for Netflix. Only 5 mins walk to all the restaurants. The cottage is located at the down town Montville!

We stayed in eagle and from the moment we walked in it was absolutely stunning, very clean and tidy and the view from the spa was out of this world. Massive sofa bed on the deck and the breakfast hamper was more then enough for 2.

Literally a 2 minute walk into the beautiful little shopping village in Montville. We paid $345 a night but it was definitely worth it and I would do it again.

Had a lovely stay despite the torrential rain. Cabin was very cosy and facilities were great. It was lovely hearing the rain on the roof and lighting the fire. Breakfast was provided and it very enjoyable. Recommend it for a relaxing break away.

Just perfect for a 3 night getaway - cabin was perfect. Great fireplace with wood on tap, awesome view from the spa, beautifully furnished, fantastic breakfast hampers and clean as a whistle. Loved our time here and will be back!

We stayed in Unit 2 and from what I could see units 1 & 3 had similar good views of the coast. I noticed there were units that were higher up than ours but I'm not sure of the views. While the view from Unit 2 was good, the main purpose of being there was to spend some quality time with my partner not to look at the view. Quality time meant spending time indoors when at the unit more so than spending time admiring the view ... if you know what I mean.
