Just perfect for a 3 night getaway - cabin was perfect. Great fireplace with wood on tap, awesome view from the spa, beautifully furnished, fantastic breakfast hampers and clean as a whistle. Loved our time here and will be back!

My partner and I just returned home from a three night stay here. Neither of us could fault anything. We were checked in by the lovely Polly. The grounds man Graham was an absolute delight and, Rosemary who we had the pleasure of meeting during our stay and on departure was also lovely to deal with. The accomodation is amazing. I did read some reviews prior to our trip, where people had commented on the cleanliness of the cabins. I’m a complete clean freak and was slightly worried about these reviews, to the point we packed some cleaning products with us! I have to say our cabin was absolutely sparkling clean. We had no complaints whatsoever. The apartment has everything you could need or want during your stay, from the plentiful breakfast hamper, massive stack of firewood, lots of towels, fluffy warm dressing gowns and, all the other little bits you would find in any hotel room. The views are amazing. The view from the spa was amazing. Treetops Seaview was exactly what we had hoped for on our trip and it 100% delivered! We will definitely be back. I’d read past any bad reviews. We absolutely could not fault anything 😊

The photos used to advertise the units had a large balcony, which was really why we booked to stay here, with intention of sitting on the balcony regardless of if it rained, and enjoying the views. We were really disappointed on the arrival to our unit, which was 2nd room from the boom gate at the top of the drive way, attached to the cleaners storage, which was attached to another unit. The first thing to hit us on entry was the dreadful wet musky smell throughout. This smell did not clear the whole 3 nights we were there, so this made staying inside and sleeping very unpleasant. As mentioned by many others, the bed was hard and uncomfortable, this combined with the smell made for sleepless nights and a sore neck and back the following mornings. Our balcony was quarter of the size advertised, with no cover above, it was absolutely useless in the rain, which we had 3 days of. w We did not use the balcony at all, it certainly was not inviting. Our views were mostly of the gumtrees that surrounded the balcony, the best view was from the toilet window. The unit was clean and the breakfast was more than enough food. The 3 nights were spent feeling uncomfortable and wishing we could have got a refund, if that was an option we would have walked out the minute we walked in. Very little money has been invested in the up keep of the unit.

We booked three nights over Christmas, we loved the quiet & privacy, the open plan spaces in our cabin and deck with awesome views. The breakfasts kept us going all day and we even bought eggs & bacon home! Bit pricy, we booked via booking.com to find we could have saved quite a bit if we had booked via their web site, a lesson learnt there. Oh well, couple of negatives, we stayed in 'burrow' and the bed was so bad we both ended up with nasty lumbar back pain for the rest of our holiday, owners please provide a new bed. For the price (0ver $300 a night) we did expect some comfort, the only bit of comfortable furniture was the sofa, we used our own folding chairs on the deck. The trees will be needing a good prune soon or the view will disappear. The walk up the slope is great exercise and an intro to this delightful hillside town. Great region to explore. We may go back if the bed is replaced please.

Others have talked about the view, which is awesome out to the coast on a clear day, and it's certainly there to see across the valleys and bush. Location in the hinterland is also not bad in Montville, just a short drive from the Sunshine Coast. We felt it was a bit odd having the reception in town, and the houses out of town. Just be aware to look for the signs. The house we had was nice - no problems about cleanliness and comfort. The little breakfast basket was welcome with juice, eggs, bread, bacon or sausage, tomato, butter and jam. The makings of a real cooked breakfast. We had no problems doing that and having a quiet meal noting that going in to town breaks the stay and would cost a lot more. I should note that the space in the house has no privacy except the toilet, with open shower over the spa bath with no screen! Some people may not feel entirely comfortable, but others it could be fun. The bed was comfortable enough for some especially if you like a mattress on the hard side. Why my title - the houses are very quiet, there's no traffic noise down that steep driveway, and they are well separate from one another, and there is NO wifi. The latter may not be an issue or even a good thing! My conclusion, I would recommend Treetops Seaview for a stay with a difference off the beaten track.

Room Tip: Get one of the houses at the top of the drive if you plan to walk anywhere because the end houses...
