I can never forget our stay in Bohol, probably the best hotel/resort in Panglao. The hotel is well kept, clean, with a very relaxing environment. The service was great, from the airport pick up, to the front desk until we left for the airport. Amarela's resto has a very good menu and cuisine. They have a very good beach front...

This is paradise! I have been to many nice hotels, but this hotel pretty much nailed it! The interior is stunningly beautiful: handpicked arts from Bohol locals and antiques from the island are scattered throughout the lobby and in the hotel rooms. Amarela Resort is very well kept, from the tidy rooms, to the lush garden and the private hotel...

Agree with all the positives from previous reviews, lovely grounds, beach ok, pool nice but potentially could get crowded as not very big nor many sun loungers. Great base for tours eg Bohol country tour (Chocolate Hills, Loboc River and Tarzier Reserve). Pamilacan Island dolphin watching trip started at 5.30 am straight off the beach, while we didn't see any...

The resort gets 5 stars in my book. Me & my husband needed a quiet beach retreat and Amarela delivered that and more. Walking in the resort gave me the feeling of walking into a Spanish-era -exquisitely appointed big house. Amarela was successful in promoting a consistent feeling of exclusivity and coziness. Our room was off of the library on...

A review particularly about the Amarela’s restaurant: This would not be our first time to visit Amarela’s restaurant, in fact every time we are in Panglao we always make it a point to visit Amarela. The resort’s façade depicts a very Spanish/Filipino inspired home once you step inside the breath taking view of the sea simply captivates you. Staffs offer...

bohol sunrise i woke up this morning to see the sun rise while the cloudless sky still filled with the evening stars the crescent moon hanging on the fragrant mango tree and further down below the darkened and sleepless sea the sound of the waves as they continually reach the shore floating gently and rising up the side of the...

Amorela is in a lovely setting on a hill above the ocean, it has lots of carved wood which gives it the character, a huge dvd collection, and a beautiful pool. We were upgraded to a lovely clean room with a huge picture window & little side balcony. The bathrooms are very nice & have bath & separate shower. Breakfast...

I haven't right words to say about this place. But I try. This is excellent hotel in wonderful island! Very friendly and helpful staff, very nice garden, very tasty eat... We had big crabs, prawns, grupper fish. I don't know, what ate people who don't like Amarela's kitchen - our dinners was perfect! And grilled pig on New Year... It...

We went to Bohol for a wedding and stayed at Amarela for 7 nights. The hotel was very clean - they cleaned our room & bathroom every day - and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was good - better than South Palms resort where we ate once, and better than Alona beach in...

Very well-kept resort, with a private and secure beach area. Beautiful view from the restaurant over the garden, White beach and ocean. Bohol house (their suite) is absolutely amazing with a private pool, terrace, balcony and seclusion from the rest of the resort. Food in the restaurant is tasty, however more expensive than in Alona. Lots of stairs in the...
