The Ananyana Beach Resort &a Spa is located Panglao island Bohol. I'm not one for big resort hotels, there's just too many people. Ananyana has a very friendly staff and very personalized service. Not to mention great food! And in case it gets too quiet for you, it's a short scooter ride to Alona beach for some night life. If... More

We stayed here with our family recently. I was not blown away by the accommodation... they rooms are very average. The whole building is a bit old and run down. The pool doesn't look very nice, it has dark charcoal coloured tiles so you can't really see the water. The landscaping at the resort is pretty non existent. However the... More

What a great laid back resort to chill and avoid the crowds. Had an absolute ball. The staff are great, food is delicious and happy hour is a bargain. Will be back. There are plenty of places to relax. Would recommend more shade by the pool and a foot bath to wash off the sand, otherwise close to sensational.

We stayed in the beach view suit, which is stunningly beautiful, with an open bathroom and a bathtub and a shower. Staff was extremely friendly. The restaurant of the hotel serves excellent food. The hotel is fairly remote (far from the touristy area of Bohol) but easily accessible. It is a perfect getaway to relax.

Stayed there for a week in early February with 15 members of the family for a reunion, I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy. Nice location on the beach, but the whole resort desperately needs an upgrade. Dry rot all over the place. Stinky, moldy Bathrooms, Service sucked, Everything was overpriced. For paying top rates, breakfast wasn't even... More

We (family of 4 with 3- and 4-year old boys with us at the time) very much enjoyed the resort, atmosphere and amenities. It was very nice to stay in such a small resort, with quiet evenings and almost no crowds on the beach or in the sea. With a lively public beach well-attended by the locals next door, the... More

Stayed three days and enjoyed the unhurried, relaxed atmosphere and good food. Facilities and room comfort are perhaps more 3-star, but amply compensated by the family feel and the opportunity to meet other guests around the pool and dining area. The menu, local, Asian and Western dishes, is shown on a blackboard and freshly prepared in an open kitchen. That... More

Simple and nice accommodations, great food, good service, attention to detail is how I would describe our stay there. You can be as busy or as quiet as you wish. But they anticipate your needs which is what I liked best.
