The rooms were clean and the aircon good. The place does not have a lobby. There is no place to lounge. The reception is in the same area as the restaurant. In order to sit down, we would need to order something. The beach was not as near as what I have read in the reviews. It is about a...

The good: l'elephant is a nice little budge hotel. Clean and spacious rooms with AC and hot water. The staff is friendly and helpful with our needs. The location is great few minutes walk from everything. Breakfast and WiFi were great. The one down stairs works better. The Bad: Owners are always drinking and chatting on the entrance but no...

Was travelling with friends and we spent a week here. It is basic, but very clean, the rooms are spacious, have a tv and good aircon. Water pressure the best we had while travelling in the Phillipines. Good wifi in all the rooms and the bar at the bottom became our lounge. The girls were always friendly and helpful. We...

I've traveled extensively and for this much money you would expect at least complimentary continental bfast or at least some coffee. Theres two places, one that has the bar and resto area with bungalows and across the street is a building with rooms. They dont say anything of this when you book it so basically instead of a good ambiance...

I stayed here for a couple nights while exploring Panglao island. I shared a double room with my sister and it was spacious enough for the 2 of us. The room was nice and clean and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was just ok (small portion sizes and mediocre quality).

Its a 5 minute walk to Alona Beach which is a tiny price to pay for some privacy and quietness. My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights in a cottage. The AC was great and shower has good pressure with hot and cold water. There's a tv but we didn't use it - why would you. The bed...

I was staying at another place but had to stay another day because of change of schedule. To book as a walk-in they required I pay at the time of the booking. I got here after 12:00, and no water. No shower, no washing hands. I went to the beach and came back 4 hours later. Still no water. It's...

I recently had plans to go to Panglao in Bohol and decided to randomly search for a place where I could stay overnight. As I searched, I came across L'Elephant Bleu and thought it provided the signs for me to book there, seeing as how my girlfriend is enamored with elephants and my favorite color is blue... yeah, I took...

We got a family room for 3 nights. As others have mentioned, this is up a flight of stairs, and there isn't a lift or escalator. For the price, the room is really nice. As for the aircon, it does take a little while to get going, but it helped to speed things up by having the bathroom door closed....

“Their Cottages are located in the same area where their restaurant is. Across the street is the annex building where the Aircon & Fan Rooms are located. Rooms on the new hotel building are on the 2nd floor, no elevator so you'll have to carry your own bags up. Cottages are better & feel cozier.”
