Been there for 3 nights, the resort is quite, far enough from noisy aread, yet walk distance from alona beach. There's a diving center in the resort, a private beach, a beautiful private pool and the staff are super nice. The resort does have a restaurant but I don't recommend eating there. There is plenty for you to eat around...

Myself and a friend stayed here in April (2016) and we were not impressed with the value for money. The rooms were very basic (no TV) and we were shocked to discover that the bathroom was supplied with salt water (from the sea?!) rather than fresh water. This made brushing your teeth and showering very unpleasant - be warned. I...

Feels not worth it for the price. Photos in the Internet was so nice but didn't emphasize the water was salty to do my shower for two days. There's no difference swimming in the ocean really. The room is big but no TV at all. Lots of ants in the table and floors. The bed frame is not made of...

We've been there 4 nights. The rooms are nice. the staff was so generous and caring, helped us every time we needed them (even the night guard). It's a bit far from alona beach center, maybe 10 minutes walk.

The good: They have a nice pool by bar! It has a very charming and simple vibe. It also has a relaxed and chill atmosphere. The staff are very attentive, pleasant, and polite. They are also very helpful when you need any travel information. The area has a lot of greenery, which was awesome most especially when the beach is...

I stayed at this resort quite long during my travel through Asia and loved it. Kalipayan Beach Resort is a beautiful property located directly on the beach. The rooms are very cosy and comfortable. Very nice pool and garden area. I really enjoyed the delicious drinks and food served at the restaurant. The staff was just amazing, super friendly and...

The room we had was 'clean' but looked like it could do with a good scrub, especially the bathroom. Paint was chipped off furniture and doors. The sheets and towels were clean, but there was no drinking water or glasses in the room. The bathroom smelled of sulfur every time the shower was turned on. The restaurant food is edible,...

Stayed in this hotel for 1 night. Room was clean, aircon was bit of a let down though so I had to put the fan on as well. Swimming pool looked clean. It is right at the back of the Alona beach though so during the high tide you can't walk along the beach to the busier part of Alona...

Stayed here for three days while backpacking. The price is fair. But if you want good snorkeling and a long with beach you would be in the wrong place. The staff seemed a bit boored working there, but maybe it was because it was low season. They don't offer services like motorbike rental or taxi, but fixes it if asking....

We went for relaxation and we got it. The food was really good and affordable at the bar/restaurant and I really liked that there were no TV's in the rooms. They could do with fresh water in the showers, but that is the only recommendations I have. I will be back.

“No smoking in rooms, but outside was a small table and chairs, also clothesline. Bring bug spray, as ants will go for food, drink glasses left outside or your ankles if sitting down outside of room. Small refrigerator inside, for drinks, bring water. Our bathroom water tasted salty, bring shampoo.”
