Took my mom here for her birthday and it is such a great location right in the middle of the burren (if you have your own transport) right near the perfumery and eagle mountain which is so beautiful. The host was so kind and kept the place spotless and with the facilities available including the large room, comfy beds and...

Clare's Rock Hostel is a welcoming place to stay in the Burren. Our double room also had two set of bunks beds which would be good for a family. Pros: The owner Pat is very friendly and more than happy to assist. Cons: Button in shower needs to be pressed every 30 seconds to continue, water has regulated temperature which...

This was our first family night in a hostel. The kids didn't know what to expect and were pleasantly surprised. We were given a room with a double bed and bunks for the kids with an ensuite. The room was perfect with enough room, the bathroom was spotless and the bedding was clean. The kitchen which we didn't use was...

A remote little gem in the Burren, very clean and quiet place, friendly staff and very good price, what more can you ask for! Our privat room ensuite a little small for tall people but it's a hostel & budget accommodation after all. Will definitely be back!

Beautifully located. Nice building. Staff be due nice and helpful. But you can see that details are missing like no lamp on your night table, no closet for clothes, sugar in the kitchen straight from the paper bag. The bathroom is not for those who like to have it clean as a whistle. But there was always warm water. Breakfast...

This is a great hostel. We had to return, having visited before a number of years ago when the kids were younger. Clare's Rock was exactly as we remembered it. Clean and impeccably maintained. The hostel boasts large kitchen facilities, generous bedrooms with ensuites and a location where you do actually get away from it all! It's location is magical,...
