We recently enjoyed a weekend at Rosedale B & B in the centre of the Hunter Valley wine growing region. Set amongst beutiful gardens, this is a very comfortable and friendly three guestroom B & B in the midst of the Lovedale vineyards and a short drive from Pokolbin and Cessnock. The rooms are bright, clean and quiet and there...

Found ouselves in the Hunter Valley during the recent school holidays and had trouble securing somewhere to stay. Rang Rosedale and managed to get a vacancy for the night. The location is excellent handy to everything and the breakfast was delicious. The room was first class and the bedding very comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the room was lovely, the breakfasts were delicious, the hosts delightful and the roaring log fire in the living room area was absolutely perfect on a cold winters night. The setting and location in Lovedale rather than Pokolbin was also fantastic, we actually couldn't believe our luck that we'd found such a good place...

Henk and Pip were wonderful hosts. The room was clean, warm and beautifully decorated. Very pleasant stay - we will definitely be coming back to the Rosedale! It is set in a great atmosphere with beautiful gardens that look lovingly maintained. Complete with a fantastic vege patch. The rooms all open onto a lovely communal lounge room with warm fire...

This was our first stay at Rosedale B&B but won't be our last. Our room was immaculate with a comfy bed and the best pillows! The reading room was waiting for us with a glass of port, chocolates and a log fire. Breakfast the next day was better than we could have had at any cafe and our hosts went...

This is the only place we'll stay when visiting the Hunter Valley. Rosedale is like our home away from home. The bedrooms are beautifully appointed and a generous size with tv an dvd player in each room. The lounge room with fireplace is always welcoming to sit and enjoy a DVD or some of the local delights of wine, cheese...

This was our second stay at Rosedale. Upon arriving we immediately felt at home. Henk and Pipp are extremely welcoming and flexible - allowing our friends, who had popped up for the day, to also stay with extremely short notice. The breakfast was amazing - you gotta try the french toast!! The place is impeccable, beautiful and homely. There's a...

This was my boyfriend's and I first time to the Hunter Valley and we couldn't have been luckier to come across such a perfect place to stay. Pip and Henk were welcoming from the moment we got there. It felt like we were old friends dropping in. We had never stayed at a B&B before so didn't know what to...

“All the rooms were well situated, room 3 where we stayed was the least overlooked by anyone approaching the main door however I believe 1 and 2 have double doors that open outwards onto the veranda, this is ideal if you plan to come back late as you can go in directly avoiding the main hallway.”
