We visited your winery today the 19th of February it was our first tasting of the day the olives and wines were amazing till it got to the last couple of tastings when the gentleman taking care of us didn't catch his name refused to do the last couple of tastings just because we were bring loud and laughing telling us we were drunk and as I said it was our first tasting of the day his attitude was extremely rude and ignorant leaving our experience there not very bitter
Stopped in the Hunter Valley unexpectedly and came across Adina vineyards. The atmosphere was wonderful and restaurant was outstanding. The food was superb as a selection of starters with incredibly good wine. Would highly recommend it if passing by and wanting a quick taste of the Hunter. The accomodation looks wonderful also. Great tasting opportunities to boot!
We stayed 6 nights over the Easter weekend. It is a lovely spot and a great location for visiting the area - a ten minute drive to many attractions (including Balloons Aloft). The gas fire is nice and the BBQ was brand new - though no way to clean it, or foil/ fill in the fat drip tray, so we were not able to clean it properly, though did the best we could. Unfortunately there were some things that were a bit disappointing, For a family of four, we had booked two bedrooms - requesting the King and a double with the King to be split into two single beds, Instead we had two doubles - so we ended up sharing beds with the children. We sent an email to the reservations email after the first night asking for a change in the configuration, but got no reply. Communication overall was not great through out out booking experience. It was not really set up for longer stays - only a couple of rolls of toilet paper, not enough tablets for the dishwasher, no spare rubbish bags - little things, but when you are paying top rates over a long weekend, it is not unreasonable to expect some of the basics are there. We sent an email, but no response. Had to go and buy these basics which was just not what we expected we would have to do. WiFi was patchy - so don't rely on it. There are also no laundry facilitities, so again, for a longer stay not ideal.…
What a great place to stay. We were here for two nights. Stayed in Paper Bark Lodge, Spacious and comfortable. We had one bedroom, but for a larger group, there were two other bedrooms. Not sure if there would be extra bathrooms, as the area was locked to us. Kitchen, lounge, outside deck all had seating for 6. Kitchen had full sized fridge, oven & microwave. Really private and quiet.
We were placed in Pepper tree Villa. Please note, do not rely on their WIFI, as connection is poor, non existent at times. Management played the “well no one else has had that problem” Yes sure. You will also need to bring your own DVD player / DVDs if you want to watch anything other than free to air TV. The gas BBQ has no utensils (tongs / spatula) One of the bins in the bathrooms had the previous occupants rubbish on arrival. Also request that you are not disturbed by ride on mower cutting grass just before 7am. When he has acres to cut elsewhere & was obviously km away at 9am. On a good note, the villa had lovely views, gas log fire great, and reasonably quiet considering Lovedale road traffic.
