Walking the Dingle and we stayed here for a night. While adequate in many respects, the place needs some attention. The Internet is VERY slow. And with an older place such as this, really only worked in the dining room. Beds were comfy and the place was clean. Our bathroom had two plumbing issues. The tap on the cold water... More

I loved Kathleen & her B&B so much I stayed there twice while walking the Dingle Way... the first night I arrived from Tralee... and then as I completed my trek (the bus stop is a few steps away). She greets you with a warm welcome, along with tea/coffee & biscuits... and makes a full Irish breakfast (or other choices).... More

My son an I spent one evening at Finglas House after a long day on the DIngle Way. My son in particular was discouraged and we were both quite tired and wet, as it had begun to rain. Kathleen was very welcoming and made sure we had everythng we needed. She was also encouraging (the walk gets easier after that... More

I was well ahead of the rest of the walking group and Kathleen insisted on getting her car out and retrieving them from the road. Then, welcomed with a pot of tea and biscuits, we were feeling right at home from the start. Quizzed for our thoughts on the day's walk and given ideas/advice for segments of the walk yet... More

A small village but we had the best time there. Kathleen was so warm & welcoming. We were there in October 2014 and were the only guests so had the place to ourselves. We had a lovely dinner at Ash's and then went to the pub next to Finglas. I think it is owned by Kathleen. There were some regulars... More

We arrived in September to Finglas House B&B soaking wet and cold from cycling all day to get to Camp. We were greeted with the warm and more than helpful greeting from Kathlene, the owner. She took all our wet clothing, shoes and hung them around her warm stove in the kitchen, turned on the heat in the building and... More

We stayed one night while hiking the Dingle Way. Kathleen is the most wonderful, caring person and seems to truly enjoy taking care of her guests! The pub that normally serves dinner (right across the street) was down for renovations, so Kathleen arranged a free van ride for her guests to another restaurant. Spotless comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast and homey... More

We were absolutely exhausted when we arrived in Camp from Tralee, and my girlfriend had twisted her knee and it hurt. Kathleen was so concerned with her, it'd put mother hens to shame. Rooms are wonderful, there's a lovely room for tea and biscuits, and the breakfast is really nice. Ask Kathleen anything, she's an old hand at the Trail,... More

Just spent a week in Camp in the fabulous Finglas House. The genuine warmth and hospitality that greets one there is sure to have one return again and again. Kathleen keeps a pristine house and the kindness and attention one receives is second to none. Nestled in the shadows of the Slieve Mish Mountains, Camp is situated in one of... More

We stayed in a big comfortable room with one double and one single bed, both with good mattresses. We had a sea view from one window, and hills from the other. Kathleen served a comprehensive Irish breakfast, including black and white pudding. She also gave us a superb welcome, with tea, cakes and biscuits, and she is a great conversationalist.... More
