We were blessed with great weather. Beautiful waterfall, and the king-queen memorial offers great views of clouds below us and beautiful gardens.
It'll be nice to cycle downhill for amateur cyclists.
Recommend if you plan to have a day trip out of Chiangmai city.
I scheduled a tour with a tour company. It was with Joinusthai.com. They have black pamphlets with the tour offices. it cost 1300bhat for the whole day including a mediocre lunch. Took 2 hours to get to the mtn.

A beautiful place with stunning views and lovely gardens. A great place to take some photos and to sit and admire the views. The waterfall is amazing and you can visit the highest point in Thailand where it drops to 12c which is cold to...More

Only 90 minutes away from Chiang Mai by motorways or very good roads.
The most incredible experience we had in Thailand. Highly recommended as there's loads to do. Our tour started with waterfall then highest point of Thailand and ended with trekking in the mountain.
