We were "bumped" here after booking elsewhere at a place that accepted our booking without realising they were already full due to the influx of school children for the start of the ski season. However, we would return to the Hostal Lola if we were ever back in Isaba. The room and bed were both enormous, a pleasant change after...

It's five years since we were here before and we went out of our way to return. On our motorcycle adventure we arrived unannounced and asked if there was a room for two nights, (you have to learn a bit of Espanol, but that's part of the fun.) Did we want to see the room? Not if they are as...

Was passing through Isaba last week on a motorcycling/camping trip, but needed a night of comfort. Came across this amazing little hostal: Gorgeous rooms with amazing views from the balcony. Lovely owners, great food, and unbelievable value. Can't recommend the place enough. It is wonderful and I will definitely be going back. The village is very quiet, but has all...

We had a personal interest in visiting Isaba, but we were pleasantly surprised and impressed with Hostal Lola. Hostal Lola was already rated very well, but as visitors who were unfamiliar with Isaba & Navarra we did not know what to expect as we had never booked a Hostal accommodation prior. We found a completely updated boutique style accommodation with...

Faultless accommodation and spectacular value for money. The rooms were really modern and clean, the view from the bedroom was stunning. Staff only spoke spanish which is common in remote areas like this. Would definitely return

The hostal has been recently updated and is very comfortable. Jose, the family owner is warm and welcoming (ask him to play some accordian for you!). Considering the other restaurant alternatives in Isaba, the food is very good value, and reasonably priced, and very generous helpings. Super friendly table service. We extended our stay by two days simply due to...

We arrived late afternoon, and the owner / chef willing made us sandwiches for lunch. With the cold beer, after a long hot walk, it was really welcome. The room was comfortable and tastefully decorated. We had dinner that evening and the meal was very good and the food fresh. Breakfast was also complete and appetising.

We didn't stay at the hostel but ate dinner at the restaurant. The 15 euro menu seemed like good value but turned out to be a lot for a small quantity of poor food. After a few weeks in Spain this was by far the worst restaurant we have visited. Food was fast yet cold and what was luke warm...

We did not actually stay at Hostel Lola, but we did have a super lunch there. We had intended to eat at Tapia in Isaba, but it was closed and we have no regrets. The restaurant was cozy and delightfully decorated, and the daily menu from which we ordered provided a good selection of local dishes at very reasonable prices....

I stayed in Hostal Lola during a 2 week journey through the Basque region and vicinity. There were two couples traveling. Prior to coming to Isaba, we'd stopped in Pamplona to see where the running-of-the-bulls happened. While there, we stopped in a second hand CD shop to buy some music for the remainder of the trip, one of them being...
