Candles in the Wind is extremely well located, only a short walk from shops and restaurants as well as Store Bay (a beautiful beach and where the glass-bottomed boats take you snorkeling on Buccoo Reef and Nylon Pool) and Pigeon Point (the most popular beach on Tobago with plenty of activities such as wind surfing and jet skis). The guest...

I had a very nice stay at Candles in the Wind. The place is well kept, clean, safe, cheap and very well located. Andrew, the owner, was very helpful and kind. He gave me all the necessary information about the transportation to the beaches around the island and to Sunday School. He made enquiries and a reservation of a reasonably...

Candles in the wind was truly like many other guest houses I've been too before. The room, kitchen, utilities were quite similar to others but at a much cheaper price. But what i didn't expect was the amazing hospitality that I received from the owner, Mr. Andrew. For every question, comment, request and random chit-chat, Mr Andrew went far and...

I just spent two wonderful days at 'Candles in the Wind'. I dropped in without calling, on one hot day. After a phone call, Andrew showed up. He was very friendly and welcoming, naturally; inviting me to lay down my luggage and relax from the heat and my sweating. The place is well-kept and clean. There is easy access to...

The owner was away whilst we were staying. His friend who was running it was ever so helpful and lovely, even though he didn't know the answers to some things we asked him. Our room was large with many beds and clean. Air con was extremely noisy. I slept with ear plugs -my boyfriend didn't get much sleep. As this...

Andrew is one of the most knowledgeable, generous, friendly people I have met! My friend and I spent 10 days with Andrew in February 2013 and were treated like part of the family! Andrew made great suggestions on where to go and what to see while we were in the area. The location could not be better! Walking distance to...
