Unexpectedly of the area, hotel is near roads and next door is garden centre! ... the prices is £85 per night is slightly expensive! However you're not allowed to bring in any kinds of foods or drinks from outside hotel unless it is from within hotel which they have vent machine, coffee machine and they provide good quality biscuits. My wife and I stopped here for one night on our way home from a family funeral. We chose this hotel as we have been here before a few years back and found it ideal for our needs. Clean room and spacious, comfortable bed and the staff very kind, especially Adrianne in reception who was extremely helpful during our stay.

Stayed for one night in a family room with 9 & 7 year old and baby, the family room was over 2 levels so plenty of space. The rooms had everything you need, it's basic but functional. Staff were ok. The only downside was the restaurant stopped serving food at 8:45pm and there wasn't anything else on offer, except a... More

Stayed here for one night during a trip to North Wales. Very friendly receptionist. Room was very basic but very spacious. Small TV (too small for room). Very comfortable bed and pillows. My concern was around cleanliness. Hairs found in bath and bedding. Receptionist was very apologetic around this (and gave a discount). Hotel has free wifi (with no login... More

This place has a touch of 'Crossroads' about it. If you remember the 1970's soap that may seem like a criticism, but it isn't. The hotel is great. Rooms are spacious with ample desk space to work if you are on business. Beds are big and comfortable, but with deep 'comfort foam' mattresses which might put some people off (I... More

Well located hotel. Needs to be updated. Rooms are good...clean...and wide. No the best to sleep in if you work in nightshift. Its quite noisy during day time and until midnight because of the traffic. Breakfast is fine. Restaurant serve classic pub food. Not bad for a stay if you work around. Definitely come back if needed. Price wise is... More

Well I was visiting a supplier in Wales and thought I could coincide it with visiting friends in Manchester, so this was a half way house, pretty much in the middle of nowhere, but actually in a beautiful area with pretty countryside on the fringe f the England/Wales border. I think in summary, the more astute of the reviewers hit... More
