We had a car tyre problem out there in the wilderness. The manager drove to us and gave us his car to go back to the lounge. He remained out there guarding our car together with his people and sent others to go fix the tyres.

It was my second safari experience, the first was at Sangala lodge at Tsavo East, not too far from Ngtuni Lodge, but this was much better! First, this is private sanctuary, but connected with Tsavo,so you see a lot of animals and maybe more than Tsavo, because the Sanctuary is not that big as Tsavo and the animals are gathered in this specific area. The other...

Everything about this place is fabulous - rooms very spacious, clean and with amazing views of the waterhole. When we walked into the reception / restaurant area when we arrived their were giraffe, eland, impala, zebra and warthogs plus numerous birds at the waterhole which is only about 10 - 15 metres away. Food was very goood and all staff...

At my time in Kenya I stayed in five different hotels but this one was better than all of them, the water hole is just outside all of the rooms so you see different animals coming up to the lake all day long. At one point there were 5 different types of animals all enjoying the water. The staff are...

We stayed here for two days and I have to say I have never experienced anything like it, the lodge was spotless, the meals lovely and the atmosphere was so peaceful, sitting having our meals whilst watching the wild life at the watering hole was quite surreal, would definitely go back and stay longer.

Animals come close to the lake near hotel however,it is very safe. All the rooms were clean and staff very friendly, they went out of the way to assist. The hotel had a variety of food to cater for everyone. Also, the chef made a special meal for us as requested. Unfortunately, there is no other facilities apart from sleeping.

This is a really good place to visit. It is about 150kms from Mombasa city. It is a private sanctuary and will save a lot in terms of entrance. There is a permanent water hole which attract a lot of animals. This sanctuary is about 40 sq. km. The lodge is very well managed and the food was also good....

We stayed for one night at Ngutuni lodge on 18.08.2016 as part of a three day safari and were really impressed by the experience. Although we have stayed in Saltlick lodge previously (20 years ago and on 17.08.2016) it was thrilling to bring our two teenage children along this time so we could experience the wonders of an African safari...

Lovely rooms facing out on to a waterhole where a range of animals can be found. Elephants are pretty much always there! Small selection of food available but all was of excellent quality! Staff were amazing and considering it is such a small lodge, it has a lot of character! Definitely would recommend.
