Thankyou for visiting our hotel and choosing to dine with us.
We are pleased that the service was good and you enjoyed your stay.
My apologies if the plates were cold as this is not the norm.I will pass this on to the kitchen.
We ate here 2-3 times. It was the only place to get a meal in a town with the power cut off by a huge fire 30kms away. Staff were under pressure but were always helpful and cheerful. Food was great under the circumstances.

Thankyou for deciding to eat with us during very difficult times without power. We tried our best and really appreciate your comments.Power cuts really test the kitchen.

Thankyou for staying at our hotel.Thankyou for your comments and we are pleased that everything was ok.
Enjoy the rest of your trip in NZ.
Glenorchy can be a harsh environment any time of year. It is 80 minutes form Queenstown by a good road.
The Gleorchy Hotel providses good meals and adequate accomodation. Accomodation however is apartan and somewhat expoensive.

Thankyou for your comments.Backpacker rooms are pretty standard at 85.00 per night twin share in our area and more expensive in Queenstown. Of courrse it is peak time as well.Glenorchy also has additional freight costs being 120km return trip from Frankton.
I didn't want to post this review until I saw others'. Probably the dirtiest hostel i have stayed in NZ. The linens have caused my eczema to act up. Plus the unavailability of kitchen was never mentioned before booking. Would not recommend. Sorry.
