Have just finish a 10 day trip at the Ramat and i couldnt find a bad thing to say if i tried my hardest. The staff are exceptional so kind, welcoming and are there to help anyone who needs a hand, if thats booking busses, organising snow gear, day trips or even finding good bite to eat around town. They made our trip that little bit easier and alot more enjoyable becuase of their local knowledge and willingness to help with any issues. And that's not where it ends the Ramat was the best place for me and my friends because you are surrounded by a great group of people and the lodge is the best place to make new friends, as they have a Great bar area, they have a pool table you really dont want to leave once you get there. The beers and beverages are well priced with happy hour…
The staff was very welcoming and made you feel home. Always good breakie and it was nice and clean at the place. Always good service with pickups first tracks etc. They had a very nice bar where people could hang out and socialize as well. Def a place I'll visit again
I just finished up a week at Ramat. I Stayed in their Snowgum lodge. Very nice lodge, Clean rooms, comfy beds. Included mini fridge in each room and lots of space for hanging up and drying your ski gear / clothes. Bring your Aussie banter. Everyone is very social - they way a hostel should be. Highly recommend to anyone going to stay in Niseko.
Loved it here. The crowd was friendly and sociable. Staff were super helpful, accomodating and friendly. Simple but sufficient breakfast, first tracks shuttle and evening and night time shuttles. Cosy relaxed bar open in the evenings. Admittedly communal lodging may not suit everybody, but I had a great time and enjoyed myself immensely. Gary, Brian, Will, Michi and Hiromi were beyond lovely! Would definitely revisit. :)
My wife and I had five days here in March in low season. We were met from the bus and taken quickly to Ramat. Michiko was incredibily friendly, smiley, welcoming and nice. The room we were in was large and had plenty of good places to hang up our ski gear. The bathroom had a lovely bath. We enjoyed breakfast and the fact that we could either take a daily car ride with Michiko to the lifts or catch a free skiers' bus that passed nearby regularly. The resort was particularly beautiful at night and we enjoyed walking from Ramat to the eateries in Hirafu. Free wifi was good.
